RSS Feed with just Disney World or Disney Parks News?

Are there some RSS feeds from here with only Disney World news? Suddenly wdwinfo has a lot of pro-DVC stories that are pretty annoying, but I don't mind some of the other news. I am also trying to find better news sources if anyone has a list! The only RSS I can find here is this...

Furnishing an Apartment... IKEA? Amazon? Somewhere Else?

Ikea has lowered their shipping rate, so it's now a good deal to get shipped large items you can't fit in your car. Surprisingly Walmart and Target have decent items like lamps and small furniture.

    Online Savings Accounts?

As a vacation fund sure why not, ask your existing bank if they have a promo. Most banks have the 2% Savings rate, so you can shop around. Some may even have increased their checking rate. 2% is pretty low though and it's taxed. It's better to put money into funds, especially for long term...

RO Reservation update when rates released?

Partial answer is that usually late Sept the Feb discounts are released. You'll want some way to be notified when they come out, because Disney doesn't always email you about them. I will probably wait until I can make the reservations online before holding a room for next year which I guess is...

Just booked our WDW trip! How would you section out your 7 days in the parks?

Try to plan everyone in on the same schedule. If you do a lot of meeting back up, there is a lot of waiting around doing nothing involved. People get back in the group and they want to do things like eat or bathroom or do attractions you were already on.

Disneyland quiety revoking Annual Passes of Guests who Buy and Resell Souvenirs - OC Register

You guys are not helping yourselves by telling your story publicly about how you sold some merchandise to a friend. The exact wording of your passholder contract is this: "Such benefits and discounts are for personal use only and may not be used for any commercial purpose including, without...

There should be a resorts etiquette brochure

Most guests seem to be oblivious and inconsiderate of other people around them, as if the whole family partially phased into a different dimension where they can only see themselves and potentially pass through solid objects. The only way to snap them back into our dimension is to acknowledge...

Will Disney Sail a near Half Empty Ship?

I'm convinced Disney will let a resort sit half full rather than sell their Deluxes at $200 / night anymore. Generally cruise lines set sail at a loss and make that up with alcohol sales and gambling, although at Disney I suppose it's some sort of Dessert party at sea.

Resort Parking Fees to be enforced

Why was this thread promoted to the newsfeed? It's complete nonsense.

Anyone else completely priced out of the buffets at Disney now?

We typically only do one ADR per trip.

Fast pass not honored for flight of passage

ANSWER: DID NOT HAPPEN. MOVE ALONG. Respectfully, the OP is trolling and so is the wdwinfo employee who promoted this thread to their Disney newsfeed which I monitor for DISNEY news not this or some lawsuit with Royal Caribbean.

Who isn't have problems with MDE?

MDE is just a shell or a portal that loosely transacts with the different computer systems. I've had many issues with MDE itself. Just logging in is a challenge. But more serious of a problem is you can never really be 100% sure what you see in MDE is correct in the ADR or reservation systems...

I said we would never do it but ......

I stay at deluxes all the time and never pay more than $300 per night (room only). When you're doing over $700 / night, you are on some other level where money doesn't mean the same thing. You're worried about Minnie Vans costing too much? Rethink what is important to you on a vacation. If there...

Does park hopping really wipe you out?

I never spend a whole day in one park. I use maybe half of my fastpasses. And I rarely make advanced dining. I also never stand in a line longer than 25 mins. Zero stress. And yes we do a LOT and we are very tired at the end of the day.

    Remaining Balance at Resort

AFAIK collections will give you some time to pay, but they are the ones that report it to the credit agencies.

    Remaining Balance at Resort

This is what I think will happen: Disney will try to settle at night on your last day. When the card is declined, they won't contact you or send you the itemized bill. Instead it will get caught in auditing where it is sent to a collections agency. In about 3 weeks you will see a bill that...

Disney Resorts will start charging for parking?

I've found some hotels (near the Disney Springs side) with no resort fees and no parking fees as well. I feel like Disney is just deciding to keep half their buildings dark while their most frequent visitors find cheaper places to sleep. Whatever man. Just makes it easier and cheaper for us to...

Staying at disney resort or offsite? Confused

You have to give us prices to see if it's a good deal. A good deal at Pop is around $110 / night with tax, but they've added a parking fee now which screws everything up. Not all off-site resorts have parking fees. Moderates used to be around $150 with tax, but they are increasing as well. We...

Room checks - perhaps this is the real reason (article linked in comments)

I feel sorry for these poor dudes who are obviously missing a few brain cells to fall for the police's trap. Since they are the dumbest of dumb, bottom of the barrel, low hanging fruit, they plead guilty without a trial and their lives are ruined by having sex "offender stamped" on their...

Can Disney charge DVC for parking?

Is there documentation, possibly in the contract or law that prevents Disney from charging for parking at DVC resorts? I hear people saying the maintenance fee pays for the parking lot, but that's not proof. I'm revisiting possibly buying DVC and an extra $240+ a year for parking adds up. I'm...
