September crew... what are you doing?

My experience this morning was seamless going from purchasing tickets to making park reservations. DW and I have APs but we had three guests without tickets. When checking park availability, all dates through October were green, except for the first week after opening and those days were yellow.

September crew... what are you doing?

100% going on our 9/26-10/1 trip unless Disney closes again. And if the parks do close we’re still going since we snagged $53 RT airfare. Couldn’t believe it. We’ll find something to do. Was able to buy tickets for the kids and get park reservations this morning. All dates were still green...

2019 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 29-November 23, 2019

This will be our 4th F&W in a row, with beverage seminars every year, including two in 2016 that were great. But not this year. Disney seems to not want us to go to any based on their cuts so we'll save that money and stick with the marketplaces. The other events don't really interest us.

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

Our experience was the exact opposite. Last year we arrived on 10/29 and crowds were manageable. This year we went Columbus Day week and the crowds were terrible. I recommend if you go early October go the week after Columbus Day week. So mid-October. :)

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

We've been the last 3 years and I think we're done for a while. Went Columbus Day week and the heat and crowds were too much. Next time, whenever that is, will be closer to festival end and no holidays.

•The Official COPPER CREEK VILLAS & CABINS Owners & Lovers Group•

You can see a pretty good bit of the high stuff. Lots of folks along the shore watching beside GP. We could even see the highest from our cabin which was a bit further up the shore. No music though! :earboy2: Actually, one cool feature in the cabin was outdoor speakers playing "resort" music...

•The Official COPPER CREEK VILLAS & CABINS Owners & Lovers Group•

Just back from five nights in a cabin. Loved it. May use the layout for a future retirement home in the mountains (plus a little more square footage and outdoor living space)! Sat in the hot tub and watched bambi and his mom come right up to the screen. WDW was RIDICULOUS busy over Columbus Day...

We picked some up to the right after entering the IG. I believe there were park maps as well.

Issues booking FP+ 60 days out

Took 30min to book five FPs this morning starting at 7am. FIVE. Kept getting that freaking Olaf screen. Did manage to get FoP on 60+4. Wasn't my desired park that day but I'll pivot.

No Crispy Chicken with Griddled Cornbread and Red Eye Gravy at Farm Fresh - Boo Seems as if several booths have eliminated dessert items this year - Boo (for variety, but leaves space) Black Pepper Shrimp with Garlic Noodles in China - Great success!

If they don't hurry up and release the booth menus soon, I'm just going to have to wait some more.

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

I was very tempted to do the Parisian Breakfast but it would be 160 clams for us. We can eat A LOT at Les Halle's for a fraction of that. We'll continue to keep it simple with beverage seminars and booths. Going for all of them this year!

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

Nabbed the beer and sake beverage seminars while we're there. Never had sake before so should be interesting. We were really disappointed last year when there were no interesting seminars during our trip.

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

We're going over Columbus Day. I expect crowds but there seems to be a serious disconnect between announced park hours and the crowds predicted by touring plans. They have several "10s" for MK and AK over our five day trip, but park hours seem way too restrictive for that (MK closing at 9pm on...

Thanks for this. Are all kiosks equally busy? By that weird question I mean the ones nearer FW (not in WS) like Flavored by Fire, Earth Eats, Active Eats, and Coastal Eats. eta: Those booths seemed less crowded the last two years.
