We've just been approved for the 28 degrees MasterCard after recommendations on this board:laughing:. On our last trip we used the Westpac Global Card (or whatever they call it!). Would not recommend using as a guarantee on hotels. Westpac held onto our funds ( we were charged on the card at...
So.... I ended up booking Café Orleans for lunch and Carnation Café for dinner. I also have booked Carnation Café for dinner on Christmas Eve as well as I was thinking that we normally don't eat much for tea Christmas night as we are always full from lunch! So I may end up cancelling the...
Sorry @aussietravellers . I should have specified - the ambience sounds lovely at BB it's was more the menu the kids probably won't go for. Two of my dd's will have to eat off the adult menu but still have kid food tastes ;)
This would be my dream Christmas Day @AussieNSW !!! I think the kids also would like the look of the menu of the Carnation Cafe too.
@Montanabel I think a Christmas dinner sounds lovely too! We are going to Goofy's Kitchen earlier in our trip which we are all looking forward to...
Im planning on booking table service for Christmas Day lunch in Disneyland (so we actually get something to eat that day!;)). It doesn't have to be fancy - just somewhere to sit and get a break from the crowds! Where would you recommend? We have three children and two adults.
From memory I think I booked my flights with Fiji Airways in about May for November. We got a great deal then. But I would start checking prices everywhere in the new year until you see them come down to a price you are happy with (and works with your dates). I think departure from Australia...
So I've booked Lansky for all the LA and Anaheim transfers. Still looking for more NYC recommendations. NYC transfers are so much more expensive :crazy2::snooty:
Hi there!
I'm ready to book transfers for my upcoming trip and need some transfer recommendations. We are a family of five which includes a 5 year old who will need a booster seat.
We need transfers to LAX from DL (travelling tfrom LAX to DL as part of a tour group so that transfer is all...
That's a good idea Viaggiamo about shipping the coats to our NYC hotel. Then we don't need to lug them around while we are in Cali. Someone else recommended GAP to me also. They have some kids coats online marked down but I haven't checked shipping to Australia yet!!:scared1: . Have to also...
We are hoping to do New York too! I've been looking at the Doubletree Times Square and Radio City Apartments as places to stay. I've seen them recommended on this board. But I'm also open to other suggestions too.
Thanks everyone! Great suggestions!
AussieNSW - I forgot about amazon and I didn't know Steve Madden made coats either! I'd definitely want something that we could easily stuff into a suitcase.
AussieShaz - great idea about the op shop and then donating back. It's more just a matter of time it...

Thanks bswift! We are only going for a week at the most. I forgot about the heated stores - so no thermals ! I'm just worried about room in our suitcases as there are five of us so if we take our coats over there plus buy new ones then that's a bit of shopping room taken up by coats. Hmmm...
Hi there! Hopefully going to NYC in December this year and wondering about coats for the family.
I have started looking online at places like Uniqlo, Kathmandu and Anaconda and I'm really confused .
I'm from Victoria so we are used to cold winters but definitely not snow or snow like...
Hi there!
We haven't been yet, but our daughters will be doing this in December with our dance school. I am also more excited than my kids! (I think!)
It is about the fourth time our dance school has done this tour and there are a few families who have done the tour two, three or even four...
