    "You can only pick one."

These are my choices: Ohana Breakfast, I have never been to their dinner so I can't really say anything on that, but I have heard really good things on it. We usually do their breakfast bc my kids are young and love the characters, so thats the winning factor for me, lol. Mickey's Backyard BBQ...

How many ADRs is too many? How many TS Meals do you plan?

So on all our previous trips we have stayed on property and have had the deluxe dining plan. So we had 3 TS meals a day. We did many character meals, bc I felt like that was killing 2 birds with 1 stone, lol. That was ok for us bc my kids were younger and we used the dining as break time so...

Your opinion on driving (room NY)

We are from NJ and we would rather drive than fly. I have 2 kids and we have driven the past 2 times down to Disney. Both my kids have ipads so thats a HUGE help on the drive plus for my older kid I make up fun "trip journals" for him to do along the way. For example as we drive through...

    **Official March 2018 Thread**

wow seriously? I have not heard anything, but I usually always book our trips the summer before, so I am planning on booking our March 2018 trip in June/July of this year...so hopefully there won't be much of an increase. That would be a total relief. We were suppose to go this year but our...

'Ohana breakfast or stick to Kona Cafe?

Kona is a must do on all our trips. We love their breakfast! If you are going for the food then I would go with Kona. On another note we also love Ohana, and thats also a must do on our trips, lol. Thats a tough decision! Although since your kids are older I think they would probably enjoy...

    Ann Arbor, MI

WOW Thanks for all the feed back everyone! I have a very determined 10 year old, lol. He's been around horses since he was 4 days old and has been on a horse since before he could walk so he absolutely loves horses. He's in 4-H and loves every minute of it, but in September I signed him up...

really? I will have to look more into it, I did read that UofM does offer some prevet courses but not a lot. They mostly suggest taking premed classes and then adding in 2 of their animal science bio classes they offer. But if MSU offers more I might have to look into it.

Awesome thanks! We are always up to finding the best subs!

    Ann Arbor, MI

30 minutes is not that bad, an hour might be pushing it bc thats technically 2 hours worth of driving when we might only have 4 hours to spend. We only have 2 half days to explore Michigan...we are spending the other half of the days looking at horses, so its not a long trip just a weekend...

    Ann Arbor, MI

Thanks I will have to remember that! Do they have good subs and stuff there? I was looking for a good lunch place but there are sooo many places how do you choose? LOL

    Ann Arbor, MI

Really? When I looked at the map it looked like Brighton was way closer to Ann Arbor than it was to Lansing. We are going to Michigan bc we are looking at some horses in Howell and Brighton was the closest hotel to Howell. I looked at staying in Ann Arbor (even though my son would of probably...

Deluxe Resorts A Little Out Of Control?

I think the rates are a tad ridiculous, but I still continue to pay, bc while on vacation I want to feel "pampered" and if I get that feeling staying at the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary then so be it, lol. I however don't want to pay high rates for value rooms and feel like I am staying...

    Ann Arbor, MI

Hello everyone! My 10yr old son and I will be traveling to the Brighton, MI area in February. My 10 yr old son is extremely intense for his age and has his "whole" life mapped out lol. Anyways he is already talking about going to College and he wants to be a vet but what schools can he go to...

Stayed offsite for the first time

Yeah my son does better with a schedule so to be able to tell him exactly when we are eating and where we are eating at is helpful. I think also having the bigger rooms at Bonnet Creek and being able to stay in the same room as my MIL will be helpful as well. I know when we were originally...

Wyndham Bonnet Creek - When To Book

Thanks! I was planning on booking directly through the Wyndham site. When I did a price check for sometime in November 2017 bc that was the only thing I could find to give me an idea of what a 3 bed room would be priced at...it was showing $472/night. I know that number is a give or take...

Offsite fast pass reservations - 7days?

wow glad I found this thread bc we were considering staying off site in 2018. Now I am not so sure. I mean my son is on the spectrum so we usually have the DAS but still I am a major planner and just winging it like that would make me nervous, lol

Wyndham Bonnet Creek - When To Book

I am following online on this thread. We usually stay on site and the perks of being able to book my dining at 180+10 is a real bonus for me. We are planning a trip for March 2018 and will have my MIL with us. We were suppose to go in 2017 with my MIL but things happened and we weren't able...

Stayed offsite for the first time

I have gone back and forth several times about staying on site vs off site. We really really love all the disney dining and we are avid disney diners, lol. We usually eat 3 meals a day (sit down meals)...I know a lot of people say thats a lot but we use that time to get away from the parks and...

    **Official March 2018 Thread**

Wow I was looking for like a generic 2018 thread but I found this thread instead which is exactly when we are planning to go! How weird it that! LOL! We were suppose to go back to Disney in 2017 but plans changed so we won't be going in 2017, after I did all that planning for it! Oh well...
