Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Thanks. We might need a do-over lol. Losing half of a $10k trip is pretty painful. My goal was to make memories for our little girl, which, technically, I guess we most likely accomplished that.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

We've been here since the 13th and we leave tomorrow. Since it directly relates to our trip experience, I'll mention it - We all got covid mid-trip and were miserably stuck in our room for the second half of our trip. This is our first time ever getting covid and it beat us up badly including my...

Mears - How punctual do I need to be?

Alright, great. The main thing I wasn't sure about was if they still have buses going 'round-the-clock like before, or if maybe less people use it now (since there is no free Magical Express) and thus have less available buses.

Mears - How punctual do I need to be?

It's going to be a long day of flying for us and we're scheduled to land at 9:23 PM. I'm estimating that we won't make it in time to the Pop food court to eat a late dinner before they close. So, my question is, if we take an extra 30 or so minutes at MCO to grab something to eat, will that...

    ***Official September 2023 Thread***

I've only ever been during the first half of September and it's always been surface-of-the-sun hot, with a pretty brief afternoon thunderstorm that rolls through just about everyday, which does sometimes provide some relief from the heat but it does get a bit muggy after that. I wouldn't expect...

    ***Official September 2023 Thread***

We fly out on the 13th. I'm excited and a little nervous! Quite a long flight from California to MCO. It's my 4 year old daughter's first time flying but she's super excited and hasn't shown a hint of fear. She's also about 40.5 inches tall and is insistent that she wants to ride everything...

This storm in the Atlantic…now Hurricane Lee

I also arrive on the 13th and I've been watching closely since it was just a tropical wave on the coast of Africa. All models are now showing that it's going to curve north before it reaches the Bahamas, so that's great and hopefully that continues to be the track. Here's today's update from one...

    ***Official September 2023 Thread***

I think you should be good unless something changes with the forecasts that I've watched from a few different meteorologists (knock on wood). From what I've seen, IF it got to Florida, it would be around the 13th, right when I'm supposed to land in Orlando. Hoping that it curves north like...

Yep! We arrive on the 13th and I'm watching that very closely. Currently, most models have it curving to the north once it gets near the Bahamas. I hope that holds true!

    Walmart for Grocery Delivery

Yep, you will get an email and text when they're on their way. You will schedule the exact 1-hour time window for delivery when you place your order. I use it frequently where I live (California) but I plan on using it for the first time in Florida this month to have them delivery my groceries...

Magicbands don't come with your resort stay anymore?

Ok, perfect. That's great to know. I ordered 3 of the newer MB2s at the "pre-arrival" price of 10 bucks each, so it looks like we're good to go!

Magicbands don't come with your resort stay anymore?

How did ride photos work before MB+? I haven't been since 2017, but my ride photos have always automatically appeared in my MDE account. Also, interactive things such as our names showing up on screens inside the queues of Rock n Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest. I always figured they used...

I may be a little crazy for choosing September as my go-to month for Disney World lol. Hoping the 2 disturbances in the eastern Atlantic go off to sea and stay there.

This storm in the Gulf… now Hurricane Idalia

I'm just curious what problems you had with Pop. We were there during hurricane Irma and it was actually a wonderful experience. A little scary at first but we felt really safe as it was happening. The buildings at Pop are built like tanks. After the fact, we saw other resorts with more damage...

Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

Whoa, that's amazing. I'm so used to the Pop bus stop being the furthest walk, I believe in every park.

Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

That's great that they moved your luggage and refrigerated items for you! Is that standard procedure or were they just being extra nice? I put in a request for building 3 / lake-facing, as I have for the past 6 trips. I'd be so bummed to get put in the 80s or 90s sections.

Drink refill stations any place except food court at Art of Animation?

Pop's is 24 hours so I'm sure AoA is the same. It is outside the fenced pool.

    POP more expensive than CSR

With those prices, I'd definitely be checking pricing for the new Drury hotel. It looks great.

    August 2023

I say tell them a few days early. It'll still be a great surprise but then they'll also have a few days of excitement and suspense. I went ahead and told my daughter a couple months in advance and she's loving just talking about it and imagining being there.
