    Arizona/Utah May 2017 - Trip Report - updated 7/22/17 (Day 3)

Not at all! They had a huge variety of stuff - cookies, raisins, granola bars, graham crackers, chips, fruit snacks, fresh fruit, etc. Our guides also went out and purchased the pouch applesauces for him since some of the other stuff wasn't safe. The guides will be aware of the allergies ahead...

    Arizona/Utah May 2017 - Trip Report - updated 7/22/17 (Day 3)

Day 3 - Travel to the Grand Canyon Day three - our first real big travel day. One thing that I think is so great about traveling with ABD is the ease in which we transitioned from one hotel to the next. Bags were to be placed outside our hotel rooms early in the morning (by 7 or 8 I think) and...

    Arizona/Utah May 2017 - Trip Report - updated 7/22/17 (Day 3)

Day 2 - Sedona Day 2 started bright and early, at 5:00, with a sunrise hike right outside of the gates of the Enchantment. The evening before Mike and Troy told us that they would be meeting for an "unofficial" hike to see the sunrise over Sedona, and it was not to be missed. I immediately knew...

We saw that change also, and agree with you 100%. The drive was not that bad to do in one day and RCL is so great, we loved being there 3 nights. And with splitting up the drive, you miss out on OYO time in Moab that you will now have in Monument Valley. I think being in Moab was much better. I...

Agree with g8tor - don't miss the sunrise hike in Sedona! We, unfortunately, didn't see any balloons, but according to Troy and Mike they are usually there. We also had the pleasure of seeing two of the condors at the Grand Canyon - I hope you guys get to see them!

My husband wore flip flops because we accidentally left his Keens at home and nobody said anything to him about it.

    Just back from Arizona/Utah

This is what we did for the OYO time: Sedona: OYO time was the afternoon of the first full day. A couple of people went on a hike just outside the resort, but you can also use the resort mountain bikes. My kids just wanted to swim. So, we hung by the pool (had a few margaritas) mostly. The pool...

Nope, nothing a small 6 year old couldn't do! My youngest is a small 6 year old (just over 40 lbs) and he could do everything! The only thing was horseback riding, but that was something you could choose to do on your own time... we did a 4 seater UTV that morning, and he LOVED that!

Arizona & Utah: Cowboys & Canyons (formerly Southwest Splendors) Meets Thread

Yup - we had someone who had a 10:40 flight on our trip. I wish I had known that I could book something earlier than 11:00 (that's what's listed in the trip details). We left RCL around 8:00.
