    Boma breakfast vs. Ohana

Boma is a family fave and a must each trip. There’s an abundance of items to choose from; savory and sweet, typical and more adventurous. We absolutely prefer it to ‘Ohana breakfast. :sunny:

    Crystal Palace Breakfast :(

CP always was our favorite buffet breakfast! The puffed French toast and breakfast lasagna are our favorite foods there and Pooh and friends are always adorable. :sunny:

    Buffets

Ah, I haven’t dined at Carmine’s in many years…the food was so good! My favorite dish was the pasta with house-made sausage and broccoli in tomato sauce mmmmmm….. :sunny:

    Restaurant regrets

I know so many people love Chefs de France, and I’d say it was just an off night, but none of our party of four, with very diverse tastes, found our food to be more than just “meh.” It was DH, DD, her BFF, and me, and while the appetizers were pretty good, the entrees were underwhelming. It...

Disney's GRAND FLORIDIAN RESORT & SPA Information & Questions + Construction Updates

Popping in for the first time in a long time to read about my favorite WDW resort…haven't stayed here since 2018 and I’m missing it terribly. I’m hoping to be back November 2022 🤞 :sunny:

What type of ADR planner are you?

I could’ve written this exactly, except for the party of nine part LOL :sunny:

Does anyone else go alcohol-free in WDW?

I truly only enjoy alcoholic beverages of the “fruity, girly” variety lol, but I don’t even have one per day at WDW - it makes me too hot, my cheeks flush, and so I’m just generally a bit uncomfortable after I drink half of it. So, as tasty as those tropical drinks may be, I mostly drink water...

    Restful Dining

We found Spice Road Table at Morocco in Epcot to be very relaxing and the food was delicious. Also, if Tomorrowland Terrace is open during your trip, it’s usually not crazy and has lovely views. One of our fond memories from our first trip with our DD (3 ½ at the time) was eating chicken...

Official Disney Cake Chatter - Part V!

That cake is adorable! Our mini cake, ordered from the GF last spring, definitely did NOT have that crazy amount of mousse lol! We ordered chocolate cake with strawberry mousse and it was pretty much a 50/50 ratio. Amazingly cute cake though! :sunny:

Eat at MK or park hop to Epcot?

We always get hoppers and also plan in half-days. All day in one park is too much for us, mostly because of the heat. It works well for us to take a midday break from the heat, relax at the hotel, maybe nap or swim, then go to a different park for dinner and more fun. :sunny:

What the heck is frushi ???

Yep, they’re all wrapped together and pre-made, so I don’t think you can ask for them to leave the melon out. My DH hates cantaloupe, too! :sunny:

Can you share a place you couldnt wait to eat but was a huge letdown

Via Napoli is meh but Dominoes is delicious?!? Mama mia, my Italian heart can’t take it lol :P :sunny:

What the heck is frushi ???

It’s cantaloupe, strawberries, and pineapple surrounded by sweet sticky rice and an unflavored wrap, not a fruit roll-up. It’s refreshing, not overly sweet, and delightful accompanied by whipped cream and raspberry coulis. For me, it was a nice, light and cool snack on a hot day. :sunny:

Character meal for 3 girls 6 and under, who are just not that into princesses

My daughter’s favorite was always the Crystal Palace in MK with the Winnie the Pooh characters. The puffed French toast is delicious. Also, every so often there’s a little parade around the dining room that the kids can join in. So cute! :sunny:

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Sorry, I haven’t checked in for a while! Both rooms had two queen beds, no daybeds, so they seemed a bit smaller than past rooms with daybeds, but there was plenty of room. Coffee makers were Cuisinart. I miss it already. :sunny:
