A 4 week maternity leave is ridiculously short. Most women are not ready to go back to full time work after 4 weeks. If the OP doesn't have to, why would she put herself and her family through that, both physically and emotionally? If she has a c-section, she can't even drive for 2 weeks...
We picked DS's name before we were even engaged or pregnant. lol It was before the internet, so other than knowing people with the same name, we had no other way to gauge popularity. I think it was the top boys name the year he was born, and he had 2 other kids in his class with the same name...

Spare the kids, the parents, staff and admin the hassles and headaches. Apply next year.
Focus on getting your family settled and make your new baby your priority. If teacher jobs are as transient in FL as you say, finding a position next year should be no problem.
