I always request "no connecting door". It seems to be clear enough that we rarely get connecting rooms, and if we do often the front desk person will note it and say that's all they have, so they obviously understood the intent.

The specialty coffees at Rix (the cafe/coffee and pastry bar) can be prepared with decaf, at least as of my visit 4 months ago. Their hours have been pretty limited since covid, so definitely check them before heading over, though. Found that out the hard way. 😉

My husband has a tree nut allergy and liberty tree told him last Nov that he couldn't have the cake. He didn't ask about almond in particular, just tree nuts in general, but we presumed it was because of the toffee. Heath bars have almond in them, as does most other toffee.
