    2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 31, 2017 - November 13, 2017

Awesome! I'll be sure to keep my eyes and ears peeled this summer then.

    2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 31, 2017 - November 13, 2017

We are trying to go in September. I have been absolutely obsessed with F&W since my first experience back in 2014 so it'll be exciting to finally go back! Does anyone know when they might announce dates and prices for the demonstrations and whatnot? We weren't able to do any last time but would...

FAVORITE MAGIC KINGDOM COUNTER SERVICE RESTARUANT FOR LUNCH

I'd say Be Our Guest probably has the best (or at least most interesting) food, but I wouldn't call it a favorite because of the need for an ADR. I feel it's way too much hassle for a QS restaurant, though I will say it's worth eating there at least once just to see the decor. I haven't been...

    Rogue One catch all thread

True, I still love it though. I know a lot of people took issue with it being a retread of ANH as well but that didn't bother me. Just as long as Episode 8 isn't just like Empire... then we'll have problems haha

    Rogue One catch all thread

I remember when Disney bought Lucasfilm a lot of my fellow nerds were complaining about - well, honestly everything (especially the fact that most of the Star Wars EU is now considered non-canon) but especially that Disney would lighten up the movies and refuse to go anywhere dark. I kept...

    We cannot decide!

Hi all, My boyfriend and I are in the very, very early stages of planning a trip for early September 2017 (that's our tentative timeframe, at least). We did a once-over of the resort list on Disney's official website to get an idea of the prices and have narrowed it down to WL, BC and YC (I...

    DCP Role Questions

Attractions is honestly once of the broadest roles available on the DCP. You could be doing anything from one of the playgrounds to theater to rides. According to what some others have posted they've put parts of Transportation and Parking into Attractions as well so I suppose those are also...

    LeFou's Brew...

I had it once and really did not like it. It's pretty much just overly sweet apple juice with more sweetness (the marshmallow) mixed in. I don't like apple juice to begin with and my stomach's not so good with acidic stuff so I had a stomachache for a while afterwards. The fruit foam on top is...

Biergarten fans... tell me about it

I've been once (it was boyfriend's and my first "big" date a couple of years ago) and we both really enjoyed it! Good, low-pressure introduction to German food if you're not used to it - I'm from the Midwest and most everyone out here has some sort of German or similar background so I'd eaten...

What are your Favorite QS at each park?

MK - Columbia Harbor House and sometimes Pinocchio's (I liked their flatbread pizza last time I was there) Epcot - Sunshine, also Mexico and Japan's QS DHS - Honestly, I haven't eaten QS here in so long I have no idea :confused3 I liked Starring Rolls but it can be really difficult to get food...

    Restaurant Recommendations

I really love Teppan Edo (Epcot, Japan Pavilion). The staff is very personable (we went while my parents were celebrating an anniversary once and they presented them with this adorable origami heart with writing in Japanese around one edge), the food is tasty and the restaurant is quite nice...

Over-rated food that you have tried...

I'm actually surprised to see all the Dole Whip comments on here - I thought I was the only one who really doesn't like it haha I'm not really a huge pineapple fan to begin with so there you go. I don't hate the stuff either - I will eat it if someone's sharing with me or if I'm in the mood -...

Only one park...which one and why?

To echo what others above have said, it really depends on what your son/daughter is into. Personally, by 12 I would have been more into Epcot than MK (I've been into world cultures/history since I was young) and my boyfriend says AK (he loves animals).

Mentioning Off Campus Living in Phone Interview?

It won't damage your chances to mention you're thinking about living off-property - they'll likely tell you how to apply to live off property (there's a bit of extra paperwork to do this) but I can't see them making a hiring decision off of that. There are plenty of CPs who choose to live away...

    Traveling During Phone Interview

Will you be traveling for a very long time? They do interviews over a relatively long period IIRC and you are able to schedule when you want to be called in advance. I can't remember if you have to complete the interview in a certain time frame after you make it to that stage, however, as it's...

    $$$$$

I miss those coupon books like you wouldn't even believe  BF and I ate some really wonderful meals thanks to them!

    Eligibility Question

You just need to be enrolled in at least one class at an accredited university/college/etc. You don't need to be seeking a degree and Disney does not factor in whether you are a part or full time student!

    $$$$$

I'll be honest - you don't really make much when factoring in housing and all. If you plan on saving for something big in the near future, the program will be more an exercise in frustration than anything else. However, it is still possible to leave with more than you came with, especially if...

Has a dcp character performer ever been a face character?

Not really anything in particular - it's pretty much all decided by height and face structure. I think stuff like eye color is a factor too. And I suppose they were all pretty, though I honestly find a lot of people pretty so I may not be the best judge of that :P

Has a dcp character performer ever been a face character?

It is possible but relatively difficult. From my friends who have been in Entertainment as character performers, Disney will usually start you on fur only first. They have maybe one or two face character auditions a year that are open to CPs. (Most aren't open to them for various union reasons...
