i wouldnt take the bypass. The book even recommends not to. All the trucks unless they are delivering in the city have to take the bypass, so all the trucks are on it plus it is longer then driving through. We have driven 5 times in the past 7-8 years and have always been happy in the HOV lane...

we stayed at the country inn and suites as well. It was a nice hotel. We had a room facing the highway and heard the train. Comfy stay, but i am a light sleeper, took a while for me. I think it was there, that there was complimentary ear plugs in our room.
