NEWS FLASH! We will be doing a hayride again this year at Milburn Orchard. Milburn is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. The hayride will be on Saturday October 1 starting at 8:00 PM. Cost will be $10 per person. If you would like to go please let me know and you can pay at the big event.

When I made my reservation at the hotel yesterday they told me that the hotel is sold out for the Weekend of October 16-18. If you want to stay at Courtyard Newark but your room using our code "GKTW" by 11:59 PM on Wednesday Sept. 16. There are 3 seats left for Iron Hill and 3 for the Hayride...

We are just a 5 weeks away from the Big event. Let me give you some updates. Iron Hill is almost sold out. We have about 5 seats left. Bonfire/Hayride is close to sell out. We have about 10 seats left. If you are planning on staying at the Courtyard our discount code ends Wednesday Sept 16.

The donations are starting to come in from business around the country. Disney donated 4 1 day park hopping tickets value $620! Coca Cola has donated 10 cases of soda and Dipping Dots also has donated something. Don't know what they are giving but I bet it will be something good.

James and I are amazed that we have not really promoted the DE Event and already 7 hotel rooms have been booked. I had our sale rep add more rooms to our block of rooms and that some where rooms with2 queen size beds.

James found an auctioneer today. His name is Scott and is from Milford, DE. Scott is not going to charge us for his services:yay: Now we just need to get some donations for the live auction.

Our auctioneers from last year will not be able to do our event this year. :( James is working on getting another auctioneer for this year event.
