EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

I did book that Italy wine and beer thing for 10/20.

EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

I was one of the lucky few that got in right away at 7am. The agent needed her supervisor's help, because the events were not showing up right away in her system. Also, the Italy pairing with beer is called Wine vs. Beer pairing, not Italian Food, Wine, and Beer as stated on Disney's site...

EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

"FRUNCH" is just the abbreviation that became popular for those of us who have attended the "French Regional Lunch" event in the past. This year, the name is changing a bit, but the Family Meal Traditions are not meant for kids. It's confusing because it sounds like it should be. These events...

Alaska Cruise for us DISers on RCCL Jewel of the Seas 6/12-19/2015 (Official Thread)

My mom did not want to do this itinerary. So I'm bowing out. Gah.

    TIW...Where to purchase in DD?

Just as an FYI, all the parks have Guest Relations locations both inside AND outside the gates. And at Epcot, they also have one at the International Gateway entrance outside the entrance, as accommodation for the Epcot resorts surrounding Crescent Lake.

Staying offsite and getting to Trails End

The internal buses can be a pain. I agree that the boat is the best way, as it is really the most direct way to that part of Fort Wilderness.

Alaska Cruise for us DISers on RCCL Jewel of the Seas 6/12-19/2015 (Official Thread)

Tobi: The audio podcast files download to ITunes just fine from the very beginning. Even the podcast app on the iPhone picks them up. They just split up the segments into multiple files. I thought you were a techie! :P

Alaska Cruise for us DISers on RCCL Jewel of the Seas 6/12-19/2015 (Official Thread)

My Mom and I were talking about going on an Alaska cruise next year. I'm going to have to email to get some quotes on some of the room types. I hope we make it on the ship, so that my Mom can meet my Disney "Mom and Dad".

Craziest table mates you have had.

As long as you don't want me to hold hands with you while you say grace, I'd be happy to sit with you. :lmao: I forgot to mention that on my last cruise, I was traveling with a couple of friends. Three single adult women show up at a large 8 top, and then see a group of Brits get VERY upset...

Dining at Palo or Remy as a solo

I have experience dining solo at Remy for dinner! Yay for being relevant! :lmao: All kidding aside, I should start by saying that I have no problem dining solo. I do it at WDW, I do it at home. And I took a solo 3 night cruise on the Dream, and I didn't let my lack of a dinner partner stop...

Craziest table mates you have had.

I'm not going to turn my experience into a debate about religion. I shared the discomfort I felt having done the polite thing by holding their hands during grace. I would feel perfectly comfortable if the hand-holding was not part of the equation. It was just one of my personal hang-ups. ;)...

Friends Don't Let Friends Do Karaoke - Eat, Drink, Pack (Day 13, Part 2)

Yay! I finally made it into your fabulous trip report! The potted tree shaking by Catherine has to be the funniest moment from that trip. It was practically walking over to Jay from the force of the shaking. I am sorry you didn't stay for a drink with us too. I did enjoy or brief visit...

Craziest table mates you have had.

I want to address this topic, because on my solo cruise, I was at an 8 top with all adults. One lovely Canadian couple, and 5 other adults, 3 of whom were a mother and adult daughters, a guy who was a family friend, and another gal family friend. The party of 5 were of the "hand holding"...

    New Remy Dessert Experience

Am I the only one who is turned off by the thought of 5 desserts for $50? I love desserts. But I don't think I would want that many desserts at that price point. I'm speaking as someone who has enjoyed Remy brunch and dinner and is willing to spend the money on those experiences. I'm...

Just a FP+ Thought...Don't Have to Like My Opinion!

You won't find all sunshine and rainbows on the podcast. That's one of the reasons I like it more than some other podcasts. The DIS podcasters aren't afraid to express both the positive and the negative. I can think of one podcast in particular that never posts anything negative. Ever. I...

Ohana or Boma - Please Help Me Decide!

I've had "hit or miss" on various parts of both restaurants, but Boma has usually edged out 'Ohana for me. But after eating another meal at 'Ohana on December 11th, my view was that night, everything was done very well. Usually some of the meats can be dry, but this time, everything served...

    Fork & Screen

I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago to see "Catching Fire". We bought our tickets and were let in about 30 minutes prior to showtime. Lots of my friends on Facebook gave me some recommendations, and I have to say, the Bistro Chicken Mac and Cheese entree has spoiled me for anything...

Friends Don't Let Friends Do Karaoke - All Aboard (Day 1, Part 1)

Love love love the Fantasy! Reading along with your trip will get me excited to go back in May! Catherine and I liked the stateroom we booked last time, we booked it again! 8504, the forward right corner stateroom you can roller skate in. :rotfl2: When Catherine and Amy do their...

Am I a "special guest star" at the end of your trip? I am really looking forward to reading about our brief moments of hilarity.
