The we loooooove Bonnet Creek thread Part 3

I just saw this review on trip advisor. $16 resort fee, doesn't include any parking or shuttle costs. Shuttle isn't bad for a larger group, $12 per unit per day. Parking is $13 a day self park or $19 valet. Do I understand this correctly? For our trip we would need to add $16x7 and $12x7 or...

The we loooooove Bonnet Creek thread Part 3

Thanks for the response of the 2 bedroom question. Also I have been getting quotes on WBC and have noticed an note (usually in the fine print) that parking fees are not covered.

The we loooooove Bonnet Creek thread Part 3

We have a few questions on Bonnet Creek. Can a 2 bedroom deluxe and a 2 bedroom presidential sleep 8 people? We are 4 adults and 3 kids. I've seen pics of both. If the price is close enough, we may opt for the presidential because we like the lay out better. How is the parking? Some...

The we loooooove Bonnet Creek thread Part 3

We are also considering renting a 3 bedroom in the summer. We are a group of 7 but minivan would be a tight fit. What about a large size SUV? I think I've read that it's $12 a day (per unit) for the shuttle and there are shuttles to/from the airport. Can anyone recommend using just...

How is priceline/hotwire for resorts outside of Disney

Wow, thanks. And thanks to everyone who responded. I'm definitely going to do some research on the websites too. Thanks, Upatnoon.

Well this makes me sad. :(

Thanks for the recommendation. The boards aren't bad but sometimes people can get excited and overdue the points they are trying to make. I will start going to the trip reports first. :thumbsup2

How is priceline/hotwire for resorts outside of Disney

Also, can you get a good pool using the resort feature on Priceline/Hotwire? Or that too much of a risk? I've heard you can get some great rates but PL tends to exaggerate their ratings.

Regrets on Resort choice based on price not desire?

Well said. I don't think you can really have a major regret staying at Disney. Just your personal preferences. You know what you like and what you don't.

Regrets on Resort choice based on price not desire?

I guess it's what you are comfortable with. Some folks have trouble staying outside their comfort zone. We've stayed at a deluxe which was nice. Then we stayed at a value. I don't regret either vacation. I would definitely want to try different places in the future. For the money though, I...

POP Century ~ Unofficially the Grooviest FAQ Thread #6 ~April 2012

We were just at POP this June and we ordered a roll away (just one night) Be warned it is smaller than your average twin. It fits a smaller adult or child reasonably well. It's on wheels, metal springs and fold in half. Comes with mattress and bedding. It takes up whatever space is left...

    Flame Tree BBQ???

We ate there a few weeks ago. It was pretty good. Tons of food. Consider splitting a meal. I think it's the best pick for Animal Kingdom when it comes to counter service. I would definitely skip the Pizza place there.

    Please help with my ADR's!!

I agree. Either one (Norway or Royal Table) is enough princesses for any trip. Boma is nice but it's not at Animal Kingdom. You have to take a bus over to the Lodge (Disney hotel) near Animal Kingdom. Add some extra time for that. If you want to eat in Animal Kingdom then I would go...

    Please help with my ADR's!!

It does seem like a lot of princesses in your choices. We really like Norway and it's only one dining credit, compared to the Royal Table. If you've never been to the Royal table, it might be nice just to have the experience. If you've been before, I might skip the Royal table and use the 2...

POP Century ~ Unofficially the Grooviest FAQ Thread #6 ~April 2012

Great pic! Next visit we will definitely have to try it. We are just back from POP - had a great time. We tried the tie-dye cheesecake - wonderful but we didn't try the King cupcake. Based on what folks have said, Who can bet chocolate, bananas, and bacon in a cupcake? Our rooms...

POP Century ~ Unofficially the Grooviest FAQ Thread #6 ~April 2012

I'm sorry you're missing your things. I agree with other posters that the safes should be bigger. At least able to fit several electronic devices. Someone took a five finger discount at Animal Kingdom and took our kids fans - they weren't the Disney version but still it was disappointing...

POP Century ~ Unofficially the Grooviest FAQ Thread #6 ~April 2012

We just got back from POP. Had a great time. We brought our own life jacket since our son is younger and we knew it would fit. They had a variety of life jackets at the flower pool - bright yellow ones in a large bin by the front of the pool. There were usually some there to use throughout...

Why I don't want to stay in a Value Resort!!!

I have to agree with you. We stayed at OKW and the pool was nice (villa was excellent) but the theme was completely lost on the younger kids. This year we weren't going to Disney but got a pin code - using it on POP. I know it will be over the top and the younger ones will love it. Deluxe...

Thanks for your help. I was worried when the Disney rep said it wouldn't be a problem. I will cancel and reschedule for another day or time.

POP Century ~ Unofficially the Grooviest FAQ Thread #5 ~ Sept 2011

We are going to POP for the first time. Very excited. Asked for the 60s section and went with preferred (cost a little extra but sounds like it's worth it). How long does it take to get to POP on the Magic Express? If our flight arrives at 3:20pm - what time is safe to make a dinner...
