    Verification please

I have read the beginning of this thread and have done reading elsewhere. I just want to make sure I don’t have anything else to do so our trip goes smooth. We will be in Disney 1/3-1/12 booked with a vacation package. We have booked park reservations through the 8th. The 9th starts the new...

Need Help deciding between POFQ and All Star Movies/Other Values or Mods

With a 6 yr old I think the theming at all star movies will ring out more to a true Disney experience. Will she get big easy architecture and theming? She’ll definitely understand character statues like Donald and Daisy and Dalmatians maybe not mighty ducks. We can’t get the room we want for...

    Parking question at theme parks

It’s been about 3 years and two canceled trips since we’ve been and I’ve read and spoken with a TA and gotten conflicting info on parking at theme parks. If I’m staying on property and drive to a theme park we used to not have to pay to park…..Has that changed?

Any changes with DAS due to covid

Due to covid we cancelled our last trip so I’ve been out of the loop. I’ve read through posts and haven’t seen any notable changes to DAS yet. We are planning for a February trip but it’s now been 3 years since our last visit which is crazy so I want to make sure I am up to date with DAS info as...

    What would you pick

I’m not to worried about getting to locations we’re pretty savvy in getting around. Aloha dinner show seems to be so mixed or have negative reviews but my parents wanted to try it but I just don’t feel it’s worth it. I was hoping to hear some positives since it’s been around forever.

    What would you pick

Trying to shake things up this trip and adding a few new eats. What do you think of 1900pf breakfast, storybook dining dinner, alohadinner show, Satu’li canteen for lunch? We’ve got our favorites in the rotation already these are just ones I’m curious about that we haven’t tried but could make...

First aid stations and insulin shots

My mom is insulin dependent. We have traveled to Disney many times but she’s always had her insulin schedule so she was in the hotel. She now has to take a shot at 11 am. Can she go to a first aid station in the parks to take it verses the public restroom.

    Split stays...

We like to try new resorts but we only go on arrival day then the next day go to our resort for the trip. I’ve only had a problem when one resort didn’t check me out properly ( even though I checked out at the desk)so I couldn’t check into the new resort. The cm was nice and corrected the...

If you couldn’t stay at AKL, which moderate would you pick....

We always do POR. We like that it’s spread out so you don’t feel crowded, they have multiple quiet pools, there are carriage rides you can book, the gift shop has champagne and wine not a big selection but still. They have a lounge. There is boat transportation to Disney springs for easy access...

    Beach Club or Wilderness Lodge?

I enjoy wl for it’s convenience to mk and the food choices. I’d like to try the new character meal at wl. I think with younger kids I’d focus more on being closer to mk. I didn’t care for the atmosphere of BC but that’s just me.

    President's Week(end) crowd

We’ve traveled quite a few times in February always trying to get out before Presidents’ Day/ break. You can definitely see an influx in crowds at both parks, resorts and Disney springs. Crowds for transportation will be there for rope drop but I still find mornings manageable with crowds...

    FP Planned...wanted to celebrate

Figure out what you’re doing for autographs. We do picture matts and a friends brings fabric squares and then has a quilt made. So there’s something while you wait but at 60 days out you could start planning your days. I make a binder and a poster board. Basically the binder is for me because...

Biggest Pet Peeve(s) when you visit Disney?

I’m on vacation and I try to relax. I’m very type A but I try my best to enjoy the moment because I am in Disney. I would say for me walking pet peeves are my issue because I have motor skills related health issue. Trying to remember to stay to the right for traffic flow which is hard if you’re...
