BBB and a almost 3 yo

We took our almost 3 and almost 5 year olds to WDW back in 2011. We chose not to do BBB on that trip because I really wanted both DDs to experience it together. Younger DD had to sit out on many many attractions that her older siblings were able to do that she was too short for, so I didn't...

    Guaranteed connecting rooms

We requested connecting rooms once and were granted them (this was during a peak time - 3rd week of July). We were guaranteed connecting rooms during a different trip, and that was also granted. The reason we were guaranteed is because we had one room with the oldest person being 16 (the adult...

Two nights/two separate ressies...will we have to move rooms?

Yes - we had to run to the front desk and check in for each reservation. I made sure to check in online, so I could stand in the short line.

Is this allowed? split 1 kids meal at TS restaurant between 2 kids

As long as they are both on the dining plan you are able to split meals. If it is a buffet, then you would obviously have to use a table credit for each kid.

Two nights/two separate ressies...will we have to move rooms?

With 3 of my 4 more recent trips, I have added additional days and all 3 times they have allowed us to stay in the same room. I always ask them about it at check in, and they work their magic.

At what age would you host a ....

I'm not sure what age I would find that appropriate, but definitely not that age. My son will be 11 this month, and there is no way I would let him. I would be fine with a boy/girl highly supervised party, but not one with that much privacy. As far as the parents staying for wine, we live in...

Which park would you leave out? Why?

Last March, Animal Kingdom is the park we left out. We all like it a lot, but we don't have any must dos there. The other parks all have something we "can't" miss.

Last time you stayed up all night

Last March when we went to WDW. We left about 5 p.m. after I had worked all day. I drove the first couple hours. DH had slept all day so he could drive through the night. Even though he was driving, I felt like I needed to stay up to keep him company. We arrived at our hotel the next morning...

What age did your kids start watching television?

My oldest was a year old before he watched TV. With the other 2, the TV was on because of big brother, but I noticed neither girl paid any attention to it until around age 2.

    Filling a week.......

How about a good book or book series? Make a list of jobs that need to be done around the house and tackle one each day (wiping down baseboards, wiping down cabinets, cleaning the oven, organizing closets, cleaning the windows). Drink coffee and wear sweat pants and fuzzy socks. Look up ideas...

Do your kids miss school for vacation?

We pulled our kids the 3 days before spring break last summer. I work on a school calendar, so I typically would not take off during the year, but I worked 3 days before school started last year to compensate for the 3 days missed (pre approved by my boss). I have always wanted to take a...
