A note about special order cakes.

Those Mickey Celebration cakes are what they have been using at Disney World for a while now, maybe Dec. 2016. They are certainly more interesting than a podium cake, but not a custom cake. I'm glad they took the sting out by spreading a little pixie dust, but what a disappointment.

Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

I never got the chance to see it. I went in Mar/April 2017 and there were technical difficulties, so we left and headed to our ADR at Boma. They said we could use the package tickets later in the week, but we didn't have time. This January, my mom got sick and then I got sick and we all...

Airport Proximity to DLR and Ground Transportation Information Superthread (READ FIRST POST FOR OVERVIEW!)

Yes from SNA. In fact, I looked for ground transportation on the John Wayne airport site and found this.

Airport Proximity to DLR and Ground Transportation Information Superthread (READ FIRST POST FOR OVERVIEW!)

I set up a private car from Prime Time Shuttle for $29 each way. I was really happy with that price considering it's just the 2 of us and no stops.

sharing an individual pizza at via Napoli

Hey girl! My mom and I split the arancini and an individual pizza. Of course, we had dessert, but could have left feeling quite satisfied without dessert.

    *** January 2019 Thread ***

I would certainly contact them about ME. With the holidays and extra mail with cards and whatnot, it could have gotten lost.

    Character Dining Choices

I've been bringing my niece since she turned 7 and now she's 21. She still loves Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast and I know she'll love Bon Voyage. Crystal Palace is super cute, 1900 Park Fare is fun and I've heard that Cape May Cafe is great. We are not fans of Chef Mickey's or Tusker...

    Dining Plan critique/food suggestions

I have never been, but many people love Sanaa. It's at Kidani Village at AKL and you may even get to see some animals.

    Dining Plan critique/food suggestions

Signatures usually take 2 hours. At Via Napoli, we love the arancini app, carciofi pizza and zeppoles with pistachio gelato.

    MEXICAN

My husband loves San Angel Inn and it is a must for him. I love Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs. We do both, obviously.

Kona Cafe or Ohana for breakfast

We always ended our trips with 'Ohana and then the last time on our Disneymoon, we had awful/rude service. That and the lackluster meal pushed us to try Kona the next time. We have been going ever since and positively love it. The Tonga Toast is good, but the pancakes are just so darn good...

    hoopdeedoo seating question

We always book at the 180 point for category 1 and always have first or second row. I never check in early, just when we arrive. I've been told the sooner you book, the better/closer seat.

New to parks, where to eat at Animal Kingdom?

We love the ahi tuna nachos and pineapple cream cheese wontons for dessert at Yak & Yeti. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Tiffins, both food and service were spot on.

Tried and True or Something New?

We change up the resort--super excited to stay deluxe for the first time at BC. As for dining, we have favorites that are musts every trip, but we like to try new places as well.
