Rev. Tim Herring has passed away

I was so sorry to see he'd passed away. He officiated my daughter's wedding. What saddened me more was seeing a Go Fund me page in his name. It's so sad that such a kind gentleman who touched so many lives on one of their most precious days would end up needing that kind of help. Long term...

    Getting rooms together

You can either call but you need both your reservation number and theirs or you can do it online but I can't remember if we did it when we booked or when we did online check in.

    California Grill worth it?

As DaisyDuck001 said Jiko and Artist Point are fantastic too. The only nudge over them I'd give Cali Grill is being able to watch fireworks from the observation deck but at Jiko we've taken time to check out the animals and sip a little wine before dinner... they're all yummy lol.

Ordering from kids' menu at signatures?

We do TIW not a ddp but in Oct 2014 my step mother ordered an adult size portion of a kids menu item at Cali Grill no drama (other than me dying a little inside for her not trying something more daring than kids chicken nuggets lol) and November 2016 my granddaughter also had an adult size...

Does Whispering Canyons have a "quiet room"?

It always seems quieter in the back part of the restaurant. Turn your card to not wanting to goof around and lunch is much less noisy in general...especially if you don't go right at noon.

    Can't miss drink

The grand manier orange slushy and the grey goose slushy from France. Tokyo sunset kiosk in Japan. Bloody Mary dawa bar and during a grown up breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. Non alcoholic Kakagori shaved ice from Japan, frozen coke, and sometimes I just need a bottle of water. My...

    California Grill worth it?

Since my mouth is watering terribly from the memory of our last meal at Cali Grill I thought a few pics were worth a thousand words. I had the pork duo. This is one half of the plate This is the second half of the pork duo I had the Zellwood corn and crab soup as my appetizer. With it...

    The Plaza or Columbia HH?

We've been to both multiple times and like both places. We would often book lunch at the plaza particularly in the hotter months to get a break from the heat and not have to fight the standing in line then hunting for a seat you get at the quick serve venues. That for me is the biggest plus for...

    Club Villain?

We liked it but we're big villains fans and hate the idea of standing for hours in line to get pics with them during things like mnsshp etc...We enjoy dancing and all the theme food...plus all you can eat and drink (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) so for us it was worth it. My granddaughter...

    Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES RESORT Information & Questions

My first stay at movies about a decade ago was one of my most disappointing stays ever. It was just before a refurb and the room had a missing drawer and one that hung crooked, stains on the carpet kind of bad. Well we just gave it another chance in October and things were completely opposite...

Why do people order a case of water?

I just don't like the taste of Orlando's tap water so we bring bottled water with us (we don't have to fly so it's easy to bring with us in the car). I drink it in the room, poolside, and often take a bottle with me when we head out to the parks. I don't tote around cargo especially since we're...

How do you celebrate your anniversaries?

On our first anniversary we did the traditional eat some of the top of our wedding cake but we're waaaaaay past that now lol. This year was 22 years for us in July but since 2007 we put off celebrating until the fall. We do a disney trip during food and wine. We book signature meals and some of...

Solo Advice needed for Memory Maker

The majority of my trips are just me and my granddaughter. Love the memory maker. To get the most out of it tho take the time to stop at the photo pass people not just ride pics. Also remember to ask about magic shots. Some will do them automatically but we've found the bigger percentage you...

    Roll call for F&W 2016 ?

Sept 22nd-26th with the hubby, my sister and brother in law. Doing the booths a little but mainly have events booked. A little sad the burger party isn't included in Sept again this year. It's one event we wanted to do again this year but our dates weren't as flexible this go round.

    No Pool Noodles Allowed

Right. And we used them as recent as both March and June of this year at sports, french quarter, and wilderness lodge. If it's a new rule or subject to certain circumstances they should say that. It could also be someone new who was told "no floats" and doesn't see the difference. My...

First Time! Honeymooners. Where to stay?

You can't make a wrong decision here. Your honeymoon will always feel more magical/special than any other vacation you take. For a moderate resort I'd choose POFQ. It's a little more adult. Of the deluxe resorts I personally prefer AK over OKW but that's just personal preference. Personally I'd...
