Is anyone considering postponing a trip?

We are postponing our March trip, despite going to Disney parks 3 times in 2021 (WDW for 8 nights in March, DL for 6 nights in July and WDW Nov 6-29). Our last trip was a long one and was finally the trip that we caught COVID. I know we got it there because we arrived on Nov 6, did not leave...

Official 2021 Disney Very Merriest After Hours Thread

This is also why we are doing a 2nd party. We originally were going to do an AH and a dessert party, but the dessert party was $550 vs $1100 for AH, so we decided it was a better use of money to just do a 2nd party. We are staying 2 weeks and have 10 day tickets, so these 2 parties will help...

Official 2021 Disney Very Merriest After Hours Thread

We already have party tickets for the 12th, but were considering a 2nd party. Unfortunately, I waited too long and now the only night left that week is the 8th which is also EMH for EP. Wonder if they will sell tickets to sold-out parties in person on the day of like with Boo Bash?

    Genie+ or hopper tickets?

Trying to decide myself as well. We will have two weeks and the first week is at BLT, so we will have access to Evening magic hours 2 of those nights at MK and EP. Another thought is not doing G+ or PH and then adding on an AH party during our BLT week instead. That gives us an entire extra day...

    Return of Crowds

Maybe check again? I just booked POP from Oct 25 to Nov 20 (excluding the Non 11-13th for now) and could have booked even earlier into Oct. I even booked two rooms for the week before Thanksgiving which had zero availability before. POP was not the only hotel available by far.

Budget..... I'm in shock right now... (rant of an old person here)

We have only been going since 2009 and can still remember getting email deal for $65/night a values. We even got it about that cheap in 2017 with an AP discount and 2019 with a CM discount. Now it is $175 for an All Star (which honestly isn't that bad considering that is how much we paid per...

    Availability for 50th Celebration - a bust?

Room availability has been opening up more and more. A month ago everything was booked solid for Nov, then more days in Oct started opening up and now there are a ton of options for Nov available. We just booked almost an entire month at POP except for Nov 11-13 (so we are currently booked Oct...

19 Days at WDW with 2 kids under 12 - and we all stayed healthy

Which my family will, but I have an un-vaxxed mom that will barely touch a mask unless it is required and if she gets it, my under 12s will get it so it almost seems pointless for us to mask if she is not, even though we still do. Plus, it would be nice for less stranger germs to be circulating...

19 Days at WDW with 2 kids under 12 - and we all stayed healthy

Also, would love to know more about this. Was it the construction? We are looking at staying a week at BLT in Nov as we love visiting there but have never stayed yet.

19 Days at WDW with 2 kids under 12 - and we all stayed healthy

Glad your trip went well! We went in early March with all 7 of us un-vaxxed (obviously as it was too early) and no one got sick but mask compliance was great back then. We also went to DL in July with 11 including 4 kids under 12 and my un-vaxxed mom (who did not mask at all except for ride...

Spending too much on eating out

I'm not the best cook and hate it, so we do a lot of easy stuff like sandwiches and chips, taco salad, or a couple of rotisserie chickens and baked potatoes. But honestly with grocery prices the way they are, there is less and less incentive for me to take time to cook a meal and then clean up...

    Castmembers Calling Everyone "Friend"

It is not new, at least not for the past few years, and is even sometimes used by those leading Traditions towards those who are attending Traditions, so maybe that is where some pick it up. However, some cast say it and some don't. I usually heard it more when cast were asking kids not to do...

9-4-21 Currently being evacuated from Tom Sawyer Island

Pretty sure the closest one to the rafts is by the Splash bathrooms. Is it an After Hours night and this was possibly a costume? They do sell toy hatchet/axe at Epcot in Norway, maybe it was something like that??
