I have been a DVC member since 2013 and I have never not gotten a room at GFV for the first week of December, ever (I always wake up and book first thing). This is the first year that this has happened. I wait listed but I dont think this is normal. Even with Covid ,i dont see how waking up...

We are (for the time being anyways....). We're DVC and had our May trip canceled so I have so many points i dont want to lose.

We have three 7 day trips booked and between the three I was able to book 18 days. We are 1 short on 1 trip. and 2 short on another.

Two adults we normally spend $2,000-$3,000 per trip including food and souvenirs.

It was closed most of the morning of our last trip. Both, even the one to Epcot. They did have buses to Epcot and MK but it was still annoying because we had an 8:05 at BOG and I was worried we wouldn't get there in time. Thankfully it all worked out.

I think they are upset because they paid $1,000 a night for the cruise and the hotel they stayed at was not up to par with that price. The warmer climates are busy this time of year with people getting away from the cold weather so they might not of been able to find them a $1,000 a night...

Poptarts are nice because they are portable and need no refrigeration. I like bagels but cream cheese needs to be kept cold. Muffins are also grab and go.

We always had my birthday parties at home, that way no matter who showed up it was fine because we have snack and cake and ice cream. I feel like your darned if you do, darned if you don't.
