Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

Texas Roadhouse has a deal on their gift cards where you get a $10 bonus card with purchase of a $50 card. You'll see it displayed in the top banner on their website. (Side note: their location on U.S. 192, not far from Animal Kingdom, is an excellent choice for economical off-site dining if...

Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

Panera Bread has a deal running for 20% off gift cards. It popped up in their app today, and I believe you'll see it near the top of their website as well. It goes through April 30.

    New Boardwalk Air Conditioner fix?

I think this has been a problem at WDW for a few years now. If memory serves, there are supposed to be a few ways to hack/fool the sensor into keeping the AC on rather than annoyingly shutting itself off. There may be a thread here on the boards that discusses those.

Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

If you are near a Meijer store, Meijer is offering 5,000 mPerks points when you spend at least $50 on Choice and One4all gift cards. Unfortunately 5,000 points is the limit for this deal, in contrast to past deals they've had that max out at 50,000 points. Also note that you can redeem 5,000...

What happens if guests are unable to join?

I thank the above posters who mentioned how a solo can get the ADR system to work for her/him. I was able to get Space 220 Lounge at 60+3 with the help of my imaginary dining partner. Modifying the ADR to just me went off without a hitch. Now I can finally see this place and wonder to myself...

Everything Virtual Queue - Please Read Posts 1 and 2

This is the method I like. Going back years to when RotR was mandatory in-park VQ signup, I can remember sitting curbside on Sunset Blvd with a ton of other guests waiting for 6:59:59. Always worked pretty well.

Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

When I fulfilled my "spend $70 and get a $10 Target Reward" last week, my in-store purchase included a $25 Disney GC and a $20 Wendy's GC. They definitely counted towards the minimum spend requirement for the reward. I wonder if on-line purchases of gift cards are more likely to encounter...

Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

There's a pretty good mperks coupon at Meijer this week: $15 off a $50 purchase of certain product brands (Tide, Bounty, Charmin, Dawn, Gain, Downy, Cascade, Swiffer, Mr Clean, Puffs, and Gillette). Coupon must be clipped to your mperks account prior to use. Valid through April 27. Also, the...

Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

For what it's worth, I shopped in-store at a Target today and purchased a Target GC (along with other stuff) with a non-Target credit card. It all went well; I got the 10% off the Target GC and later I saw in my online account that the $10 Target Reward had been awarded. Like a few other...

Should I switch? Pop vs Dolphin

I'd also note that the Dolphin bus to MK actually goes to the TTC, in contrast to Pop's bus which goes directly to the MK bus loop near the park's entrance gate. This is not so great if you are not in the mood for a bus trip combined with a ferry/monorail trip.

Should I switch? Pop vs Dolphin

It appears that extended evening hours are being offered only for MK and EPCOT, at least until further notice. Whether Disney decides to add DHS is impossible to say at this point. Even so, there is a lot to be said for the evening hours perk at the two parks where it's happening: both Remy...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

This reminds me of how MK's rope drop operated many years ago. In the 80s, a ton of people would mass behind an actual rope and then make an insane sprint to Space Mountain the moment CMs pulled the rope back. Some people whom you wouldn't expect to have a lot of running ability were...

They are using the facial biometric thing at Universal Orlando now. Maybe that will be adopted at Disney sooner or later.

I am still pondering whether to take my phone charger into the parks for next trip, knowing it will set off the scanner. But that still sounds better than sitting around next to a power outlet for who knows how long.

Target Circle Offer- 20% off code tripadvisor things to do. Looks like it's applying to WDW tickets? STACK ME WITH CB SITE AND PP % Chase

Not only did the Tripadvisor/Target Circle code not work for me at topcashback, they also gave me a 0.00 for a recent Priceline Express deal on All Star Sports. Again, this was such a strong and unexpected deal that I am still pretty much satisified with just the deal as-is. It just seems like...

Wow, this is nuts. Now I don't feel so bad about buying that 3-day promotional ticket with no park hopping.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

I will be doing early theme park entry at DHS this June for the first time in years. Has anyone done this recently using the bus from All Star Sports? I am wondering when the first bus shows up and whether it ever goes to another All Star before going to DHS. Also, is there anything to know...

    Disney’s Magic Band FAQ Link

Ah, I hadn't even thought about that. I will put that to the test this June.
