I have to admit I'm pleased with something NCL has done - they no longer call this gratuities - it is a serve charge which is a more correct description for this charge as it is not a true tipping situation.

Yes it has - our last 3 cruises have been on RCI/RCL. Doing NCL next tear - but only because we are cruising Pride of America around the Hawaiian Islands.

Just off the freedom of the seas and we did pay for and attend the mystery dinner theater the first night. It was purposefully lame and the meal was mediocre at best. Dinning was in Giovanni's but you did not get selections from the full menu. I did not find this to be worth the cost.

Just back a couple weeks ago from Freedom and the freestyle machines did have Dr. Pepper in them!

You should plan to book this yourself. For anything that requires picking a time such as PAT or PALO if the time you asked for is not available an alternate time must be selected. You are better able to determine which times work for you than your TA can.

We did this a few years ago and it was a very fun experience - low key and kid friendly!

You can simply use the countdowns here on the DIS and state the name of your ship if you wish. Like I have in my signature for our Freedom of the Seas upcoming cruise. Cruise Critic has countdowns available but I do not know if the DIS or Cruise Critic would be ok with using one of those here?

Thank you for this we just decided to do the air boat trip thru Royal and they then return us to FLL airport!

You can also call AA and explain you need a flight after 12 noon and they should be able to move you to a later flight.

We have done the sunset catamaran excursion in St. Maarten - this was fun There is also an awesome place to have lunch and a cocktail or two - LazyLizard TripAdvisor

We did the Graycliff Chocolatier - The Art of Chocolate Making and Factory Tour. It was fun - reminded me in a weird sort of way about the Lucy show where they got jobs making the chocolates...

I'm fairly certain this is because of DCL's rules on no discounting fares. If you got to keep the cash that would equate to a rebate or discount on the fare you paid.

Depending on what airline you are flying RCCL will transfer your luggage directly from the ship to the airport - you would not see it again until you arrive at your destination. There is a small fee for this from RCCL...
