We did the DDP for many years... for us, one adult and 3 kids... was SO worth it. We usually did deluxe. Ate great, dined at every buffet there was. It was worth the money... because the cost of kids was cheap on it at the time. We saved SOOO much. Would be $135 for the 4 of us for Deluxe...

We arrive July 1st - 8th. But, my AP will expire July 3rd (will renew when there) But... does this affect me making FP+ picks? Meaning... will I only be able to make them for July 1, 2 and 3 and not rest of trip as will show my AP only good till the 3rd, and am out of luck making FP+ in...

Thank you for posting this!! Needed 3 nights at POFQ for end of our trip... nope, couldn't get at all. Ended up booking 2 nights at rack - third nt wasn't available even at rack. so $396 for 2 nights rack standard room.... now with travelocity... those same 2 nights are $281. :cool1...

Wanting to do WCC dinner... not fond of the menu change. Kids won't eat the skillet. They are 10 and 13... can they still order off the kid menu? or is it a flat skillet price as adult just for them being there - just as a buffet would be flat price?

I agree with you - NOTHING on that menu would even be interested in eating! We used to love lunch there.. the Major Domo's Favorite Pie. then in July of '11 went in for our ADR, sat down - it was OFF the menu, as of just few days prior. We left the restaurant... (they didn't charge us)...

We've done the past 4 thanksgivings at disney. We always prefer a buffet. Have done Chef Mickey's, Hollywood & Vine, Cape May and Captain's Grill. Cape May was great - Captain's Grill enjoyed this past year - but they had NOOOO dark meat :(

yeah, I think totally doable - but just make sure let server know you want to get in and out - and get that check right away. We are always super quick in restaurants, and one thing that drives me nuts and holds us up all the time is sitting there okay, WHERE is our server, we NEED our check...
