    Marriott Vacation Club?

We stayed at many of these. When it comes to Marriotts we like Cypress harbor the best because of its configuration. Not too big. not too small, lots to do, great location, and beautiful.

Has anyone been to Marriott World Center lately?

I don't know. I would think separate areas with separate ammenities for families and business travelers would be the answer.

Has anyone been to Marriott World Center lately?

We've been at the MW a number of times. It is a great place however the only thing I don't like is the way they mix business travelers and families. We found a few times were we were at the food court with guests in bathsuits waiting in line with other guests in business suits. Very strange.

    Is Celebration worth a visit?

We went for the first time this year and had a great dinner at the Columbia restaurant. It is an interesting place to see. A little too "built and planned" for my tastes but then again, it is a Disney creation.

Actual Savings Staying Offsite Versus Onsite

For us it is the timeshare resorts. They offer a big savings in the following areas: Resort - I have no trouble finding a one week rental and the cost per night is as cheap as $150 for a two bedroon suite which are huge. And these are Hiltons or marriotts, top notch offerings. No extra fees...

Cypress Harbour or Harbour Lake with 9 and 11 year olds

Having been to both, and based on your description, I would vote Cypress Harbour. It is a fantastic resort. Just the right size, so much to do for everyone iof every age, and beautiful.

    Nice hotels with waterslides

The Hilton Par Soleil has a fantastic big slide in the middle of the large zero entry pool. Slide races every day.

Our current favorite is the Hilton Parc Soleil, one of orlando's newest. Check it out. I have a detailed review posted here somewhere.

    Hilton Grand Vacation Hotels

I rented the week from a HGVC owner that I found on eBay. When we got there we got a call for the tour. We said yes. We've done a ton of these and never buy. We get the first appt in the morning, usually 7:30. They feed us breakfast and we are out by 9am to enjoy the rest of our day but not...

    Hilton Grand Vacation Hotels

All great resorts but the Parc Soleil is our favorite. We've been to the Sea world location as well but they really got it right with the Parc Soleil. I posted the review below (which has since cycled off). Good luck and have fun. My wife, 11 year old daughter, and I just returned from a one...

Off site Hotels with BEST Pool area?

Marriott world has an amazing pool. If you are looking at a full resort experience then check out the Hilton Parc Soleil. This is a newer resort and has a fantastic main pool, very large, zero entry, fountains, and a huge water slide right in the middle rear. They also have a nice infinity pool...

Booked October 18-25 Marriott Cypress Harbour

Our favorite marriott resort is Cypress Habour. You will love it. It has a great configuration, not too big, not too small, and something to do for everyone. See if you can get the list of weekly activities so you can plan out what you want to do. 3 pools to use and being one of the older...

Patience paid off! flights for >1000 for 4 out of BDL

We live in CT but still use the NYC airports. We have used BDL a couple of times. parking is the best, easy and cheap. The biggest downside to BDL is the lack of non-stop flights. Did you get non-stops where we always get directs out of NYC? used newark once with the train and that worked well.

    closest chick-fil-a?

Of course, and you did know that since peanuts are one of the most popular food allergy sources and the OP did not post what type of allergy her child had and CFA is one of the few places to use PO that it would be a good idea to clarify, right?

    closest chick-fil-a?

You do know that Chick fil A cooks with peanut oil. We can't go there because of my daughter's peanut allergy.

Question about checking into a timeshare resort

I guess it depends on your resort brand. Once is all it takes at a Hilton or Marriott and once you have the conversation over with then that is it. That said, I'm glad they ask me at check in because then I don't worry about it. However, we usually go for the tour. We schedule it first thing at...

Walk to Marriott World Center pool

I know Royal does not have its own pool. Imperial and Royal share a pool in the central area but Imperial has its own pool and hot tub as well. Royal does not (or at least they did not when we were there in 2006). Royal also has a number of units which are close to 535 so you'll have a lot of...
