Candlelight Processional Dining packages are posted!

I got the same error message on my computer but was able to get garden grill on my app at 5:01 CST. One option showed with an 8:30 CLP show time so I grabbed it. Now I see nothing. This is nuts!

READ POST 1 & 2 FIRST-Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group Planning and Information-*No Spoilers*

I'm confused as to what happened, aren't the apps completely separate from each other? Are you saying your MDE app showed the kids Disney + accounts? So the kids showed up twice? I'm sorry you didn't get to ride!

QS: To share or not to share a table

I think it's great that people are willing to share. A nice couple with 2 little kids offered for my husband and I to share their table for our QS breakfast in toy story land. I was very appreciative as it was packed! We chatted some and then went back to having our own conversations. They had...

    Need advice

I would switch for a night. But I'd also keep checking, someone is bound to cancel before December and then you might be able to get the room you need!

July 3/4 2020 MK Fireworks Dessert Parties - Watch Thread - UPDATE: NOW OPEN!!!

Got Terrace for the 3rd! Thank you!!!! Of course now I'm second-guessing! Should I have booked plaza garden instead? We did the terrace party in 2017 and loved it so I went for that again. Thanks!

Upgraded to Nikon D750, lens question

Gorgeous shots! I'm going to look for a used copy of that lens, I think you're right, cheaper than renting and can sell if I change my mind. Good point! So many awesome lenses out there, Its always hard to know what to try next! Thank you both for the conversation, its been very helpful!

Upgraded to Nikon D750, lens question

I love the 70-200 for shows as well. I opted for the expensive 2.8 version because I need it for sports photography in high school gyms. I'm thinking maybe I could be trying the 85 mm more for shows? Much lighter to carry around. I've used it a few times for nighttime parades but not much during...

Upgraded to Nikon D750, lens question

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm a prime kind of shooter or not! I'll give it a try and see. I figure if I try it and it doesn't end up working like I'm used to I'll switch. I'm hesitant since I'm so used to the tamron lens I've always had and have been super happy with it, but maybe the prime lens...

Upgraded to Nikon D750, lens question

Thank you! I really enjoyed your blog post, very well written with an objective point of view. I think an ultrawide might be just what I need to push my photography (at Disney and otherwise) into a different direction. "Instead of just being images of the scene, they are images that bring you...

Upgraded to Nikon D750, lens question

Thanks! I've been thinking about the Tamron 24-70 vs the Nikon 24-70. I loved my 17-55 lens, so figure I would like the other Tamron just fine too. How many lenses do you bring on average, just the zoom or do you bring others? I typically bring just one. I haven't shot much with the new 35 mm...

Upgraded to Nikon D750, lens question

Hello, I recently upgraded from my Nikon D7200 to a Nikon D750. I primarily used a Tamron 17-50 mm 2.8 lens for my Disney trips. I would bring my Nikon 85 mm 1.8 lens for parades at night but didn't end up using it all that much. I also have my Nikon 70-200 mm 2.8 lens that I have brought...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

I'm trying to figure out what my best plan should be. I currently have a package booked starting June 28th for myself and my 3 daughters. We have 4-day hopper tickets with free dining. I am planning on upgrading my pass only to an annual pass. It is my understanding that I need to use a day...

What’s the polite amount of time to spend with characters?

The beautiful thing about an opinion is that everyone has the right to form their own. I couldn't care less if someone's opinion is adults shouldn't meet characters. Fine for them, I don't have to agree with them and I certainly don't have to listen to them or let it affect my trip. I meet...

Can you tell me if this would work? Banking/borrowing for a trip every 3 years.

One more question, we prefer the 3rd week in December. Is that any less difficult to book than the first 2 weeks or is it about the same? I know for a standard studio the point requirement is the same and a lake view isn't much difference.

Can you tell me if this would work? Banking/borrowing for a trip every 3 years.

Thanks for all the good info everyone. You've given me a lot to think about/research further! I was intending to walk the reservation but it sounds like that isn't going to be as simple as I originally thought. I appreciate the insight!

Can you tell me if this would work? Banking/borrowing for a trip every 3 years.

Hello, I am looking at buying at the Grand Floridian for a trip in December every 3 years. The contract I'm looking at is for 50 points with a June use year. I am thinking I can bank the 2019 points, use the 2020 points and borrow the 2021 points for a trip in December of 2020. Is this correct...
