Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

We ate at Sanaa this week. It was one of the more crowded restaurants we saw.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

We got back last night and indoor dining felt mostly okay. We tend to eat early (11:00 lunch) and most in the park restaurants gave a lot of space between tables. At Disney Springs, though, the host sat a table directly next to us (like tables less than a foot apart) even though there were other...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

I am so jealous. On our one friendship boat experience, mask compliance was terrible. A dad and a group of older teens had them around their necks and were yelling to each other (they were scattered throughout the crowded boat. Some sitting and some standing). Parents with a younger kid were...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Some schools have returned but many have not. We are here now and I would not bring unvaccinated kids. Mask wearing has been poor, it is hot and lines are long. The worst though has been transportation - little airflow, hot people with masks pulled down, and lots of standing. Full capacity and...

Thank you! I just was able to do the same thing today for a trip in August. I appreciate the tip.

Did you have a reservation at Yak & Yeti or just use your Landry's membership? That's the one ADR I can't seem to get!

    Mexico beach resort vacation

We stayed at Rosewood Mayakoba and Grand Velas Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen. Both great - very different. Rosewood Mayakoba was high-end luxury - pools weren't full of kids. Grand Velas was all-inclusive, tons of kids. People spent way more time in the pools than on the beach, but we did...

Frontierland RD after MK AM EMH - where to wait?

Last week, we waited by Adventureland and then cut through the bathrooms that connect Adventureland and Frontierland. We were stopped by CMs who merged our group with the group who came in by Fantasyland/CHH. While they told us the morning spiel (don't run, etc.), we watched a third group that...

TouringPlans.com? Did the plan save you time?

I have tried twice to make plans (just now) and am super confused by the plans it gives me. For one, on an MK day, it tells me to rope drop Magic Carpets of Aladdin and then ride BTMRR around 10 with a 7 minute wait. For the DHS day, it tells me to do Muppets early and then RNRC at 12:30...

Epcot Snorkel in Living Seas Aquarium - Reviews?

We did it a couple of years and ago and loved, loved, loved it. Just don't be an idiot like I was and wear a skirted bathing suit. Doesn't work so well under a wetsuit!

    Purchasing travel insurance independently

Guessing that one's not allowed! There are sites that will compare travel insurance options and show rates. We ended up using those sites and chose Allianz.

Services that people rave about, turn out to be the pits

Try Harry's razors. They used to be online only, but now they sell at Target. We LOVE them. The blades last forever and feel really high quality. H used to go through a Gillette blade every few days, now he lasts weeks with a Harry's blade. I use them, too.

    Epcot Sea Adventures Aqua Tour

We did this maybe two years ago and LOVED it. It is one of my most favorite things we have ever done, and not just at Disney. It was so fun to wave at people eating. The animals were great and just an overall amazing experience.

MARCH 2017 Pre Trip Report - The family's first transatlantic visit *update 1/16*

Looks great! We'll be there early March, as well, and can't wait! We have the EMM booked and I am debating the After Hours (by debating, I mean, just waiting until I can get an excuse to book it...)

    Baby at Trader Sams

Our kids loved it and requested return visits. We were happy to oblige. We went early, so seating was easier. My only caution is that it is dark and loud, but the noises can also seem sudden. Outside just isn't the same.
