    Hollywood Brown Derby

Trying HBD for dinner during our next trip. I'm looking forward to trying the beef carpaccio. I've never had it. Not sure I'll like it but for some reason, I really want to give it a go.

    Super gutted & disheartened

Our last trip had me feeling like that but it all worked out! I just checked again and again and signed up for reservation finder. It took some time but we got the reservations we wanted. CRT might be a tough one but don't give up!

New to parks, where to eat at Animal Kingdom?

We've enjoyed Tusker House for a late breakfast and Yak and Yeti for dinner. We're going to try Satuli Canteen during our upcoming trip and after this thread, I think I'd like to try a drink at Nomad Lounge.

    Asking for opinions and suggestions

Good point on the heavy back to back meals and spacing out lunch and dinner. Thanks! As you can see, breakfast is stumping me a little. We typically do quick breakfast in our room and don't normally want to use a lot of early morning park time on a sit down breakfast. Any ideas for the...

    Asking for opinions and suggestions

Can I ask for your opinion/suggestions on our plans for our 20th anniversary trip? DH and I.....no kids this trip. We're planning on slower days and more restaurants than we normally do. Going first week in May. Staying at POP. Deluxe Dining Plan. We don't park hop. Day 1 Flight arrives...

    Trying something different

I appreciate all of your feedback. :thumbsup2 It's not that I think we'll need the kitchen for many meals, it's more like waking up and not having coffee or breakfast before leaving for the parks. We do rope drop so not having a kitchen will mean different planning for the mornings. I'm sure...

    Trying something different

Value is all we want to spend. We can't justify spending more on a vacation for 2 than we do for a vacation for 4.

    Trying something different

DH and I are planning an adults only trip. All but one of our previous trips have been at an off property condo and for our family of 4, that's what we prefer. But we think that because this trip will just be the two of us, we should mix things up and stay on property. We're considering Art...

    FP vs ROL dining package

You can get a good fastpass or even standy seat but it will depend on how early you arrive. We didn't want to use a FP on the show and we needed a TS meal for that day anyway, so we did the dining package. Great seats. I was there 45 minutes before the show started because I was waiting for...

Having a hard time staying excited after reading so many terrible reviews on here

While planning, I often find myself trying to find the absolute most perfect ADRs but eventually end up reminding myself that the places we've tried and loved are sometimes hated by other people. :confused3 When my kids were little, Chef Mickey was a must. The food was always fine and we saw...

    Tusker House breakfast

1)We had a 10:40 adr the day after christmas! We arrived at 10:30. The park was filling up fast but our wait was under 10 minutes. They warned us it could take an hour and a half for all of the characters to make their rounds but it didn't actually take anywhere near that long. We were there...

    Christmas Dinner

We chose 1900 Park Fare Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner and took a monorail tour to see the christmas decorations and watch the fireworks. Loved the decorations. Loved visiting the resorts. Loved watching fireworks from Contemporary's balcony. Hated the food. It was bad. We won't go...

    Which ADR would you keep?

I always leave out important info.....sorry! It's for BOG. We've been there before and really enjoyed breakfast but our original ADR was ppo. Once they changed the Christmas week hours, it no longer looks so good. We could try to change it to lunch or dinner. Thanks! Husband will be...

If we're in World Showcase before park opening, where will we enter Future World?

Update: I spoke to a CM at the Fine Art Photography number. She said we would need to scan our tickets when we enter WS before the photo shoot and that we would be allowed to enter FW when it opens, via WS. When I asked about parking at the resort, she said something like, "Oh yes, I think...

If we're in World Showcase before park opening, where will we enter Future World?

If the photo shoot is over by 8:45am, they'll make us leave the park and drive around to the front entrance of Epcot? That seems so extreme. :( I thought they'd allow us to stay in WS until FS opens and was wondering which way they'd let us enter (Canada side or Mexico side?) We are not...

    2 questions about Pandora

    1) Is there a walkable path leading from Pandora to Lion King? I see it on the map but is it something we could take? If I'm trying to get from Pandora to my Tusker House ADR, would this be an option? 2) Are your legs locked into FOP? Are you leaning over? I've read some of the thread on...

Do you get tickets delivered to you or the Email version?

I'm buying our tickets tonight. The delivery for hard tickets will be after my FP window opens. Can I link my tickets to my MDE before they're actually arrive in the mail? Looking at the email option for the first time. Would this be a better idea? We already have magicbands.
