My ex-wife wants to do what???

Yeah. Creeped here, too. It's also kind of a "We/She did all this work ourselves, you should too" kind of a feeling that idea gives me. If you *do* give her the names, she should pay you as a wedding coordinator! :rotfl2:

    Dining on the Dream

Hypothetically speaking... I like to do Animator's Palate twice (mushroom risotto...mmmm) but usually do a Palo night, so don't repeat any. I was least impressed with Enchanted Garden. Just my two cents. :goodvibes

Need Ideas: Marriage Proposal on Dream!!!

Sounds cool! Spoonces - Be aware it is Disney's policy NOT to allow characters to actually be involved in the proposal. I proposed to DW in Dec 2009 on the Wonder and had to go through months of back-and-forth with both shoreside and shipboard concierge. Locations are generally easier to...

Which side of the Dream to be on ?

If you have breakfast before leaving, go to Cabana's. Great view of the island from there as well. ETA: Just don't eat the pancakes!! ;):scared1::scared1:

Ahhhhh (Bach). Well corrected. My bad. :thumbsup2

    Concierge Room on the Dream

I don't recall getting a note about a second reception like we have had on the Wonder. I suspect the happy hour(s) and constant finger food availability make up for that, except no character meet and greet. Then again, the lack of that may have been a MV thing.

    DCL Alaska - First Cruise

Or possibly even earlier for "special" cruises. We got in line at ~8:00 for the Maiden, but that may be overkill for a regular cruise. Once you've checked in for your existing room, head to the supervisor's desk, which is on the left side as you enter the terminal, and at the far end to ask...

    Concierge Room on the Dream

Patrick, Patty, and Pat...errr Jonathan. ;) Yes and Yes. ETA: If you upgrade at port, there might be a delay in your info getting to them. Or maybe that was another MV thing. Same with your luggage getting to your new room.

    Concierge Room on the Dream

We upgraded 5A to V for $540. A T would've been about $1900, I believe. So V to T shouldn't be bad. For those who haven't upgraded at port before (this was our 1st), I suggest getting in line early @PC, checking in for your exisiting reservation, then hightail it to the supervisor's desk...

    Concierge Room on the Dream

The lounge made it easier to get snacks/drinks at our own pace instead of bugging the concierge CM (which I start feeling guilty about after the 2nd or 3rd request - my issue). Having a smaller personal space (Cat V), it was nice to have a serene lounge that was (arguably) the least crowded...

    disney dream

:lmao: I can just see the Darlings lowering their instruments over the side to fit the whole family into a Cat 9... Briscoe trying to impress Aunt Bea lifting the bedframe to show off his bicep... "She's a-buggin'!" :rotfl2:

    DCL Alaska - First Cruise

Yup. Just has to fit in your carry-on. Sorry - nope, but IMHO, you are already in THE BEST place to find any info you need. :thumbsup2 Probably best to get to the port early (7-8:00 is early at PC, I personally dunno yet about LA) if you want to upgrade at port, particularly on "special"...

    disney dream

As long as we don't have to watch the color episodes. Warren Ferguson the deputy. Pale green paint everywhere... :scared1: ...poor Horatio! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

    character autographs and lines

You might, but the "handler" may taze you. ;) Seriously, the lines usually move quickly and it helps (as with everything Disney) to plan. Your Navigator will tell you each day which characters will be where and when. Go a little early and you might get the front of the line.

New Aqua Duck SINGLE RIDER height restriction...

It's cold. AWESOME!!! :rotfl: I went solo and tandem. I recommend tandem. Definitely faster. And it helped my DW who lost her cap that I was behind her to catch it! :lmao:
