Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

*****nevermind i found my answer ☺️ So I have one more question and I know it’s a stupid one but...does it matter if you have your tickets loaded into MDE before upgrading or do you have to have the physical ticket printed from UCT?

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

So how is that working that people are basically profiting off of Disney by buying tickets from UCT? (NOT complaining just trying to understand how it works and how it’s going to continue to work, as I’ve never upgraded before now but I have bought my tickets through UCT) Another question, I...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

So let me see if I understand this correctly (as one way of possibly making this work)...if I am wanting an annual pass for two of my children but want to spread out the cost, can I buy a lesser day ticket ahead of time, and then immediately upgrade to AP when we get to disney? I am looking to...

Short time frame for renting a BWV studio?

I should have mentioned that we always try to avoid the events in January, so hoping that won't be as much of an issue. We can only ever visit in Jan/Feb so we're used to working around those dates as much as possible, and we have more flexibility this time as it's our shortest stay yet.

    Annual Pass worth it?

I was wondering about this. We will probably get AP's for all the "adult" members of our family (even though they're still kids!!!! Ugh), so we'll have two still on regular "child" tickets because it doesn't make sense to get THEM the AP's for the cost. For 7 people, I have a hard time...

Advantage Rent-A-Car (as well as FOX and EZ)

Thank you, I have looked at Costco's rates and they are about $700, but I couldn't help but ask after I saw those other companies coming up at about $400.

Short time frame for renting a BWV studio?

Please accept my apologies if this is not posted in the right area...sometimes I'm not sure where my questions fit best! We would like to book a BWV studio possibly next January, mid-late, for 5-6 nights. If I'm unable to pin down dates until 5-6 months before (or even 4 months), do you think...

Booking flights via SW with the SWA RR Visa....how many points?

I know the SWA visa is 2pts/$ for flights. However, my question is about how you get RR points for booking even without a SWA visa. For example, just plugging in dates on the SWA site will say I get "X" amount of points for this flight, so lets go with 1,500 points for the flight, which totals...

Advantage Rent-A-Car (as well as FOX and EZ)

I'm seeing, via Southwest (just because that's where I'm playing with prices right now), Advantage Rent-A-Car (as well as Fox and EZ) are coming up as nearly half the cost of the cheapest "common" rental companies (which for the most part are pretty consistently priced everywhere else I've...

    Ebates?

I've done it for years, have about a $600 total since signing up. I always use Evreward before I shop with cash back though, as sometimes Ebates isn't the highest rebate.

Opening a new bank account for the bonus

Yes this is the same Key Bank offer that I am referring to in my OP. Thanks!

Right, I do understand that part, thank you! :)

Opening a new bank account for the bonus

A bank down the road from me is offering a $400 bonus for opening a new account with a $500 deposit. The most basic account (which is what we would do) has a $7 fee (only waivable with big regular deposits which we wouldn't do), and there is a $25 fee charged if the account is closed before 180...

Is there some secret advantage to having a travel agent?

I feel bad asking this because I don't want to offend any travel agents (heck, I'd LOVE your job!! and I know how time consuming it can be to plan a Disney trip for someone else!), but I'm genuinely curious. I've been planning our family Disney vacations since after I graduated high school, so...

    Disney on school breaks

This! I homeschool my own children, but we did a HUGE unit on the Epcot countries before we travelled there. It was so much fun. The chances of us actually traveling internationally as a family of 7 are slim to none so Epcot is as good as it's going to get, and it was a great experience to...

DVC phone tour w/ $25 Disney GC offer

When I did it, I actually asked at the end of the call to make sure I'd be getting it. I'm not usually that bold. LOL

DVC phone tour w/ $25 Disney GC offer

I did this when it was a $40 GC and it wasn't bad at all, actually kind of interesting and the lady wasn't pushing by any means. She knew I was pretty much just calling for the GC (although some of the info was valuable and I did pass it on to my parents, who were curious) and didn't make me...

Yes, this is EXACTLY what I'm referring to. Thanks everyone for the help and advice!

    Help understanding vacation rental locations

Yes I've been able to do this too, when I can find the area the house is in and then see the street number. It's very helpful for someone on the other side of the country to get an idea of what I'm considering! LOL
