What was YOUR first Disney trip like?

My first trip was my honeymoon, in 1997, and my first view of the castle was this one, when it was decorated for the 25th anniversary - :rotfl: DH's parents had given us a week in their timeshare (not actually in Florida, but you could trade weeks within a catalog) as a wedding gift, so we...

    slo’s FRIDAY 4/26 poll - Weekend Movie πŸŽ₯ 🍿

Not as often as I'd like! I probably watch more than two hours of screen time on any a given weekend day...but it's rarely all in one chunk, so I tend to choose shorter shows over movies. Sometimes I will watch a Hallmark movie, and just keep pausing and going back to it later, especially...

Seconding popcorn (my go-to snack lately because I can have quite a bit without it being too many calories) and of course the pretzels that inspired the thread - I like both really crunchy pretzels and the big soft kind. Nuts - I usually buy the unsalted or lightly salted ones (but I'll still...

April 2024 WISH Thread - Bring on the Sunshine! β˜€οΈ

Thankful yesterday for a sunny day and that we got to go to a neat presentation at DH's lodge. - The speaker talked about "The Forgotten Adams" (Louisa, who was John Quincy Adams' wife, as opposed to Abigail, who was the first John Adams' wife and the one people tend to know more about.) Plans...

Quarantine and chill and kindness chatty clubhouse: Jump in and join the conversation! All is welcome!

Good morning, all! A bit tired here because we had a late night and an early morning, but the reason for the late night was a speaker at DH's Lodge. - She gave a really good presentation about Louisa Adams (John Quincy Adams' wife - everyone knows about Abigail, but not her). It was very...

I just use the Notes app that came with my iPhone. I'm sure it does things I haven't even discovered yet, but I've been able to change text size, bold, underline, make lists, etc. I use it a lot!

Yikes!! If it could be a brown recluse, I would definitely be scared and want to move rooms.

Disney Visa Rewards - "Pay Yourself Back" option

I'm the OP, but I have the free version (from a long time ago). I think it was someone else who mentioned the current bonus on the premium card.

I'm grateful for phones in general because: they let us instantly get help in an emergency. I'm grateful for my cell phone specifically because: most of the time I like texting better than talking, and having one means I always have a camera with me! πŸ“Έ

Oooh, great answers! - I definitely second labeled photos, hand-written recipes, and that I didn't miss out on cursive! I'm also grateful I grew up when letter-writing was still a thing. I had a school pen pal in the Philippines when I was in 7th grade, and I also exchanged letters for years...
