Former Disney employee, kind of a newbie saying Hello!
 

Hello Disney enthusiasts! :wave2:

I have been a member since 2007, but was not a consistent poster/member. I just returned in the past month, as my mom and I are taking my kiddos to WDW in May!

I grew up going to WDW once a year when I was a child, I went to FSU for a bit, and have had a long love affair with Disney.

In 2004, I worked as a swing dresser in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast. I dressed the ensemble (silly girls), the enchantress, Babette, Mrs. Potts, and Madame de le Grande Bouche. It was the best job, and it was super cool to be part of the magic. pixiedust: I am so, so, so excited that the new Fantasyland has been added so that my children can experience B&B! :hyper:

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello! I love the DIS Boards. :love: I am so happy to be here! See you around! :)

I'm relatively new around here as well, but love WDW, ever since my first trip in 2009. Never got to experience WDW as a kid, but am enjoying it so much now!

Welcome! Love all versions of Beauty and the Beast! Went to the Broadway show twice. Once the first year, and once the last month it was open. I have a piece of furniture in my family room to hold my Beauty and the Beast collectibles, so yes I am obsessed!

Thank you for the welcome! I love that you collect B&B collectibles! Christy Carlson Romano was Belle when I worked at the show. Good times! I am hoping to we get to the Enchanted Tales with Belle when we visit in May. My kiddos know "mommy worked with Belle," so to see the characters in person will be a thrill for them.
