LOVE Showcase of Citrus. Lots of fun to pick oranges and walk around the property and gift shop. You can also take a monster truck tour of the grove.

Great! I heard on reviews it's pretty dirty so wear old clothes. Did you find that?

The website wasn't working for me so I can't check. What other things do they sell in the store they have?

I tried to check their website too - no luck.
But I did find a great deal still going on @ groupon. 50% off!!
If you are planning on going - maybe get the tickets in advance.
Would still like to poke around their website though......hope it is back up later.

Just when to Show Case of Cirtus and I did not find it dirty. But make sure you wear tennis shoes because of the fire ants. We did not have any problems but their web sight has a warning about not wearing sandles because of the ants.

It is also located very close to Disney about 25 minute ride. ** Also wanted to mention if you need to pick anything up from a Walmart, about 10 minutes up the road (north) of the citrus location is a WalMart.

Also keep in mind the picking season ends at the end of May every year. The orange growing season is Oct - May.

So can you pick oranges in Oct or are they just starting to grow then?

there are several months when you can't pick

on the website there is a calendar saying no only when you can pick - but what you can pick at that time.

they have more than just oranges.

Love love love SOS and its a must do for us. We haven't really done pick your own but we spend a few hrs there just walking around. Chickens roam the place and will follow you like doggies! They have machines with feed. We look around for lizards. They have cats roaming around, and other animals. DD10 had a blast playing with the kittens. We always get some boiled peanuts and orange slushies. Yum!
