My UY is december. When can I borrow from the 2014 points?

Mine is December as well. You can borrow 2014 points for reservations starting December 2013, if I think that correctly!

For all use years, you can borrow your 2014 points whenever it is you can make a reservation that occurs in your 2013 use year (and you do not have enough 2013 points to complete the transaction.)

You can borrow Dec 2014 points for a reservation that falls within your Dec 2013 UY which runs from Dec 1, 2013 through Nov 30, 2014.

You can make a reservation at your home resort (using home resort points) starting 11 months from check-in. Therefore, the earliest date that you can make a reservation that falls within your Dec 2013 UY would be Jan 1, 2013, 11 months in advance of a check-in date of Dec 1, 2013, the first day of your 2013 UY.

I'm not sure but I think the rules are different if you are borrowing points to book a cruise.

You just got your 2012 UY points six days ago. Dec UYs are sometimes confusing because the calendar is changing, everyone else is talking about 2013 and you just started your 2012 UY.

You could borrow the 2014 points as early as Jan 1, 2103 for a stay starting Dec 1 2013.

Thank you, that clears it up for me! It is very confusing with a Dec. UY! I'm good for our next December trip, but looks like I'm going to have to pay cash for my solo. That's ok because I can stay where I want to.:thumbsup2

It takes a while to get used to Dec. UY ! I always have to think it through too.
