what's the next major refurb??
 

Anyone have any ideas as to what the next major refurb may be or is slated to be? For instance, this year Test Track was the major refurb, changing the whole ride and being down for several months. We're looking at going next fall/winter and trying to gauge if there's been any rumors as to the next big attraction that will go down for awhile?

Splash Mountain is going down for several months but I doubt much will change. If I had to guess the next major change will come to the Studios.

As stated, the greatest possibility is Studios, but AK could see some action too if they get their act together.

I would agree....Splash Mountain won't change. Studios could use a major refurb. :P

I agree about Studios. It was my least enjoyable day. We left early in the day and had lunch at MK. I can't find my times guide for my trip but it seemed like only ONE food place was open between opening and 10:30-11. I just wanted a drink darn it!

are the tea cups going to be closed in late January?:sad:

They already changed Splash Mountain more than they should have. (stupid lapbars)

What did they have before? I didn't get to ride back in the 90's when I went. I rode it (3 times) on this last trip. I was in the front the last time and I looked TERRIFIED on my picture. I knew I wasn't going to fly out but I still had to tell myself that as we went over the hill. I almost purchased it, it was so hilarious.

You use to sit in one row of 4.. msybe 5.. like on space mountain, except no bars... And then It went to 4 or 5 people per row and 4 or 5 rows, still no bar..

I haven't been since November '10, are their safety bars now??

I don't believe that you were ever able to seat 4 or 5 in a row. The configuration hasn't changed. Its always been two to a row. The boats are the same they just added the lap bar.

You're right. I have Pirates' boats in my head. It is just two to a row.

Exactly. the worst part is the got rid of the holders on the back of the seats which were much more comfortable to grab.

You could fit 3 if the CM didn't give a **** and they were small.
