Trip Number Nine ~ It's Christmastime!
Hello! Welcome to my PTR! :wave: We are about to embark on our 9th trip to WDW and I hope you will tag along for all the fun! :santa:
A little bit about my family and I... Like I said, this will be our 9th trip to WDW. We started going in 2005 and were hooked! I have been married to my DH for 14 1/2 years and we have two wonderful boys, 13 and 11. I am a former hairstylist, former banker, former stay-at-home mom. . . After being a stay-at-home mom for several years, I decided to go back to work part time in early 2010. I now work at my kids school as a Teaching Assistant on an on-call basis and I love it! In my spare time I am also a soccer mom, PTO mom, and all that fun stuff! I also enjoy shopping, photography, and of course all things Disney. DH has come to love Disney almost as much as I do! He is the one who taught me to slow things down on our vacations and we have really had some awesome trips since we stopped trying to cram everything in. He works as a quality assurance inspector and works a ton of hours. So he is always happy to get away to the Florida sunshine and take it easy! In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, etc. DS13 is our oldest and very responsible young man. He is growing up way too fast and I don't like it! Hard to believe he is in his last year of middle school and will start high school next fall. :scared1: Where has the time gone? Sigh. He enjoys video games, his I-Pod, being with his friends, skateboarding, riding his 4-wheeler, shooting his bow, and Disney! He is very out-going and hilarious and loves to be the center of attention. DS11 is our little guy. Hard to believe he is in his last year of elementary school and will be off to the middle school next fall. :sad: He loves playing video games, going fishing, playing outside, and is the star of his soccer team! His favorite thing of all is Lego's!! We even took a side trip to LegoLand the last time we were at WDW. He is a huge Disney fan! He might be the only one in the family who loves Disney as much as I do. He is a very picky eater, which always makes dining on vacation interesting. And this time I wasn't even out shopping when you started.:laughing: I love the pictures you posted. It's amazing to me that the boys are so big. I think of them as very small and seeing that pic of y'all at DHS makes me realize that they are young men, not small boys. Which makes me feel, well, old.:( Can't wait to tag along on your pre-journey with you.:woohoo: |

Oh yes, still making our weekly trips to DLR - and podcasting about it too! We are doing great!

yep! We are at 26 days today!!!!:cool1: The kids didn't tear any strips off their countdown chains this past weekend (since WED!!!!)...so they had fun ripping off several this afternoon! I have most of the toiletries bought and in bags to pack, the last few i will get this week when I am out & about!!
