Following orders also.... I'm 90% sure that this is caused by stress; maybe a weebit of a virus too. My DH had a little stomach bug on Friday and Saturday and I do too now, but it didn't kick in until I was getting ready to leave, so the timing is a little suspicious! Tornado watch? Yuck. Yes, thanks to the NYC Office of Emergency Management, I am well informed that hurricane season starts next month. :scared1: They are "celebrating" (THEIR term - DEFINITELY NOT MINE) "Hurricane Awareness Month" (Who knew? :confused3). Apparently, this "celebration" entails numerous banner ads and other public service announcements. I keep getting bright colored banner ads on my computer saying things (in all CAPS) like "Are you in an evacuation zone?" and "Are your bags packed"...:sad2: I was sick of them by May 2nd. :lmao: I'm nervous about this hurricane season. It will be my first one on the Gulf Coast. :scared: Ahem...it's Monday, right? Why no red beans? WFD - French dips and (baked) French fries June 30...4:30pm....arrive at MSY! |

Ann -- I'm glad Luke slept for you. Get some rest today and feel better. You definitely could have new allergies...pregnancy does some weird things. Nancy -- I hope you are enjoying your snuggle time with Kady. The thought of Nola scooting all over the place makes me smile. Ellen -- Like Ann said, men always seem to lose weight quicker, but after the initial drop, it takes longer to work off the rest. I lost all my multiquotes when I came here from the new thread, and I can't remember what else I was going to say. My parents are taking Liam to dinner and to his baseball game while Caili is at skating. I am not sure what Caili and I are doing for food. We have to go right from the rink to the field, so it will be some kind of takeout. You may here that word a lot here this week. |

Ellen- it is not fair! Buddy can lose his extra pounds in a heartbeat...I go without good stuff for a year! Hang in there and the weight will come off. Laura- Daniel used to manage two Subway stores and he was slammed from now until the end of the school year. Between all the end of school activities and the sports it seems dinner is on the run |

Do you want to try and work up a suprise for her? Nancy - Those little buggers are fast in those walkers. I know. My nephew had the greatest time in my parents house on their hardwood floors. Now my mother's poor dog being chased by said nephew did NOT have such a fabulous time. And thanks for the countertop input. Like you, that is someplace I don't want to blow my budget. I figure whatever I get will be better than what I have now. Ann - I can't believe you are so close either. Time is certainly flying. Kat - Thanks for moving us before we got shut down. :thumbsup2 Ellen - I agree with Ann. It's a man thing. My husband lost 5 pounds in one week simply by eating only one cinnamon biscuit (with his frisco breakfast sandwich) instead of two. :sad2: Am I jealous? You betcha! Janice - Yoooouuuuu Hooooooo. Details woman. How did the date go? Laura - Don't worry about keeping up. Just try to keep your head above water with your children this week. I know I've missed someone and I'm sorry. But unlike Ann and Bethany, I can't figure out how to quote from the prior thread and my memory isn't great either. So forgive me if I missed you. Tonight's dinner is going to be something with the italian sausage I pulled out of the freezer. No idea what just yet. |
