Hi everyone! :flower3:

Welcome to a "normal" edition of the Nicki & Todd, will they eat this or cancel that, LIVE! from WDW dining reviews!

After our fantastic trip with our nieces this past January DH and I decided to go back to the Poly for a much needed adult trip. It was a great trip and we had a few good meals but the dining choices were not what we would normally do so I am thankful to get back into the "US" swing of things, I promise no more reviews of chicken nuggets and pizza :rotfl2: BRING ON THE BOOZE! :banana:

Thanks to the 40% off code and the last month our AP's are valid we decided to book the first weekend in March hoping it will be a quieter time for the parks and resorts. Just a nice garden room and I am hoping to get back to the Samoa building, that is just perfect!

I plan the trips and the meals, DH just goes with the flow but sometimes he gives me feedback, usually when we are just hours from a dining ressie and he says "Nope lets do something else, I am just not feeling it" and that is almost always followed up with "Call them and get us something else" and I look at him like this :scared1: :eek: :sad2: :guilty: :sad1: :scared:

To make matters worse every place he has asked to get into at the last minute we have been able to do it so he thinks that this ADR thing is a piece of cake and wonders why I make a big deal out of planning so far in advance!

So here is what I have on my list, lets see what the dear sweet pain in da tush hubby will do to my plans!

Arrival night (around 7) - Dinner at Capt Cooks, we just love the chicken lo mein there! Then a wind down night at the Tambu Lounge

Day 2 - breakfast at GFC, hmmmm lobster benedict or that cream and fruit filled croissant???
lunch at HS, DH said CS would be fine and I said no thanks lets go for burgers at Sci Fi instead...they have milkshakes with booze in them :scared1:
dinner at the Wave, cannot wait to try this place!

Day 3 - breakfast at Kona, missed it the last time
lunch at CHH for me and Cosmic Rays for DH
dinner at Tonys, a first for us because we cancelled it last month but we have been to lunch there and it was great!

Day 4 - breakfast at Capt Cooks for one of those huge weigh a pound cheese danishes!
lunch - San Angel Inn, the one request from Todd but hopefully he will have a change of heart and go back to Tangierine Cafe for me!
dinner - Le Cellier, have not been in 2 years and we are both excited to go back!

Day 5 - departure day starts with breakfast at Chef Mickeys...I wanted Boma but DH had a point, we have never been to CM breakfast before and we do need to check it off our list if we are going to continue to try every restaurant in WDW! :laughing:
lunch - DTD for shopping and probably WPE for lunch before heading home...I love WPE

I know we are going to have a ton of snacks and hopefully alot of adult beverages! Lord knows we need to unwind a bit!

Any suggestions or requests? Anyone want pics of menus?

That looks like a great itinerary! I hope you have a blast and don't let Todd ruin too much for you in switching the ADR's around.

Your reviews are the best! I love the adult milkshakes at Sci-Fi....that is the one reason I booked it for my cousins first trip to the world. Yum-O!

He better not! He is pretty excited about the lunch and dinner places, if we change anything up it will probably be GFC and Kona, we might sleep in and grab something from Capt Cooks instead...but then again with us who knows? :rotfl:

I'm interested in the cheese danish (seriously, weigh a pound??? :eek: ); Can you take a pic. of the Captain Cook's menu for me? I would love to see what else they have for breakfast goodies... I heard/read something about tonga toast....

Kona sounds great for breakfast too!!! mmmmmm!!!!

Of course, a silly question, would it not be good if I sip on a Lapu Lapu, while Cait. sips on a fruity non-alcoholic concoction????
