Offsite fast pass reservations - 7days?

Searched but can't seem to find this answer - we are staying offsite and have 8 days of park tickets. I have been making our fast passes each morning at 7am but today when I went to book our last ones (which would be for the 8th day) it said we had reached our limit. ?
I see that it says that AP holders can only hold 7 days at a time but does this hold staying offsite with day tickets?
Should I be calling?
Thanks so much for your help!

The 7 day restriction only applies to AP holders & should not affect an 8 day ticket. You should definitely call to have a CM help you book the last day, if it's still not working for you. Good luck!

As long as you have 8 days worth of tickets linked then give them a call.

AP's can only have 7 days worth of fast passes in a 30 day calendar unless staying on site. But if you're not AP's and have just regular tickets then you should be able to make as many fast passes as days that you have tickets

Thank you for posting this - we too can only hold 7 days of fastpasses, despite having 10 day tickets. I don't know when this changed, but I have been on the phone with several folks and no one could tell me why we couldn't book the 8th day. After the 3rd day of speaking with different areas of the call centre, the "website and MDE area" said offsite people can only make them for 7. Anyone know when this changed??

Also try booking Day #8 from the app rather than your computer and see if that works.

Tried to do this - still says we've exceeded our number of fast passes.
Currently on hold with Disney....will let you know what they say...
Thanks for your responses!

Finally got through - offsite guests may now only make 7 days of fast pass reservations at a time.
When you have used the first day, then you can make an 8th day.
I asked if this is new - CM didn't really answer but said this is the policy for offsite guests. Onsite can make for the entire length of stay.
Wonder when it changed? Wish we'd known ahead of time.
Hope there's is still something left!

wow glad I found this thread bc we were considering staying off site in 2018. Now I am not so sure. I mean my son is on the spectrum so we usually have the DAS but still I am a major planner and just winging it like that would make me nervous, lol

Thank you for posting this. I'll add this info to the FP FAQ Addendum.

I'm not sure when it changed but it seems unfair that off-siters can't book for the length of their tickets.

I agree! Especially during the holiday busy season. I'm sure it will work out but we actually might have just bought 7 day tickets if we had known this and had a day by the pool.

Does anyone know if this 7 day limit applies to people staying offsite who are linked to someone staying onsite?

My specific situation is as follows:
My parents have 10 day non-expiring tickets (purchased before this ticket type was discontinued). My brother's family has an onsite stay with 4 park days in February. My parents are going to the park with them but are not staying onsite. My brother successfully made my parents 4 days worth of FP when he made his bookings at 60 days out because they are linked as friends and family on MDE.

My family is going in March and our 60 day booking window will open in January, before my parents have used their February fast passes. We are staying onsite. My parents are linked to my account as friends and family. My parents again are off site but are joining us for our park days as well. Will I only be able to book 3 more days worth of FP for them at my 60 day window and have to wait until they use some days in February to make FP their remaining days in March? Or because we are linked will it let me make up to 10 total days for them?

It still could be related to a glitch. More posters need to post their results for tickets longer than 7 days.

When using the umbrella-function to include offsiters in the FP booking, the open window is based on the onsite stay.

I made my fastpasses today had no problem getting more than 7 days total for my parents who are off site but linked to us on site.

Thanks for reporting! The glitch must have been fixed and I've removed the alert from the FAQ Addendum!
:thanks:
