Do adults bring their Mickey ears on the ships?

Everyone wears them at the parks, but does anyone wear them on the ships? It seems like something that people would bring, but then it also seems like something that people wouldn't do.

Yes, they do. I wore the ears I bought in 1956 at Disneyland.

Some cruise meet groups even set special nights for a "Mousekateer Night".

Go for it.

My fiance and I were the only ones wearing mickey ears our last cruise in May 2016, and all of the CMs thought we were on our honeymoon. When our head server congratulated us, we clarified that we weren't on our honeymoon, and he looked annoyed and said "but you're wearing the honeymoon ears...." (They were hot pink minnie ears and the classic mickey ears). But that didnt stop us from wearing them every day :) But when we cruised in August 2015, there were tons of other cruisers wearing them and we got lots of compliments. I wish more people would wear them. Go for it!

I don't recall seeing anyone wearing ears on the Fantasy last month (aside from those who had just won them on a game show or Bingo), but then again I wasn't looking for it.

It's a Disney cruise. Most people won't have on ears, but no one will think it's weird if you do. You'll probably get compliments on them.

I don't recall seeing many wearing them, but even if I did I would think nothing of it. You're on a Disney ship.

Why not? My son begged to have his star wars BB-8 mickey ears on the ship....of course you know how kids are, so instead of Mommy carrying it, I wore it. It looked better on my head than in my hand:earsgirl:.

You will see others wearing them - typically at night (dinner/show times); character photos, etc. So go ahead and enjoy wearing them if you want. Just remember anytime you head up on the open decks (maybe grabbing a drink from the drink station) don't forget you have them on because when the ship's moving, there will be some wind that can whisk your ears away. (It may seem obvious but I see at least one cruiser surprised and running after their ears every cruise!)

We see them more in the park. I saw some people wearing them on embarkation day. The rest of the cruise they seem to be a bit less popular.

I have pirate Minnie ears and I bring them for pirate night on every cruise. But all in all I would say there are not that many people wearing Mickey ears on the ships. With wind on the open decks, wearing them also is more of a hassle than in the parks. It really can be windy as soon as you are outside and the last thing you want to happen is for them to fly away!

Our experience (14 DCL cruises) is that you hardly ever see adults with Mickey ears.

I wear my pirate Mickey ears on pirate night as well!

I bring a few pairs for theme nights. But I also bring my tiara for formal night. I don't really care if people think I'm weird because they would be correct! princess:

Yes, but it's usually mostly the kids wearing them. I'm totally bringing mine this time though :)

I did see a few adults wearing ears on my last cruise. I wore Mickey Pirate ears that my daughter gave me on Pirate's night.
