‘Morning all…
It is morning, right?
Running on pretty much no sleep for a couple days so I ain’t exactly sure.
May the young’en continue improving and do so quickly.
Does anyone have a clue as to what on earth was troubling her?
The “losing” record speaks more for them than any of the “winning” records say of the more senior competition. Excellent work by the kids.
Sorry you missed on some of the young’ens moments. I hate when that happens.
Ours is a good three hours off these days and work schedules force us to miss a lot of his performances. He was able to schedule his senior juried recital on a weekend so we did get to take that one in. It still made for a long day but was well worth it.
Breakfast and picking a tree are much better use of a day than being completely miserable.
May he stay strong and progress well through this stage.
At least he’s got a good support team.
I enjoyed our little visit but would certainly have liked more.
And speaking for at least part of our country, I’ll take those best wishes.
We’re gonn’a need ‘em.
DW thinks about starting a village like that from time to time but can’t decide on the exact style she wants. She has a couple of other holiday collections though and we’re a bit short on space so it might be just as well. When we get everything set up and squared away I may post a couple pictures, but right now everything is a mess of tubs, boxes and piles of brick-a-brac that needs organizing.

Too many folks feeling poorly ‘round here, and that needs to stop.Oldest dd is sick and is taking an antibiotic. Dr said that it is going around here.

That’s a good bit of recovery as well from what from all accounts must have been quite the ordeal. Thanks for all the kind wishes, guys. She's steadily improving, although we still don't know what the heck happened. 2 nights ago the pain was a 7 (and she doesn't exaggerate pain. if she says 7, she's thought carefully about it and it's a 7) Next day a 6, last night a 5 today a 3. Keeping fingers crossed.

Mighty hard work and effort on their part, I’d say. We've been involved in a basketball tournament all weekend. DS and his JV team have been playing in a varsity tournament and ended up going 1-2 in their pool. Both losses were by 1 point.

Good that you will be home for the holidays.Hello Dads, I'm soon leaving Asia behind for a month and heading home today. Lots of flying ahead of me with stops in Dubai and London, but I'm looking forward to getting home for Christmas. Unfortunately I'm a day late for seeing DD16 in the local Santa Claus parade, it's her first year as a cheerleader. But I do get back a day before DD9's school concert, so at least I'll see that.

So the meatballs did the trick, eh? I’ll keep that in mind. Not to jinx it, but I see light at the end of the tunnel. Got some sleep last night and it seems the bug decided he is going to move elsewhere. Felt good enough this morning that the kid and I went out to breakfast and then get the tree.

That’s a whole lot of tough battles for one fell’a to have to fight at one time.FIL was finally admitted to hospital early Thursday evening. Between his COPD (chronic bronchitis / emphasima) and congestive heart failure he now also has cardiomyopathy. Oxygen levels are low because plumbing ain't working and he has no strength. Plan is to now get him into rehab so they can control diet with low sodium and work on physical therapy and breathing exercises. Medication is how they will keep heart stuff from worsening but nothing can improve it. Basically pops is just a mess so positive thoughts and prayers appreciated.

I’d say y’all done very well at feeding the Disney addiction. That's a wrap for Disney this year, we've done pretty well this year with WDW and DLP.
Have a lovely Monday, safe travels Jeff, and best wishes to all from the Mother Country.

That’s about as far as we got this weekend. The tree is up, light, and “cat proofed” but the rest of the weekend got too busy to allow for much else. Maybe we can do some of the trimming this evening.Lights are up and because of the size, it was a piece of cake. The kid is in finals week so I am postponing putting on the ornaments until next week when she can participate.
Quite the collection and a nice spot to display it as well.
