Cabana Bay to Royal Pacific?

Hi all,

Is there a way to walk to RPR from CB "through" Sapphire Falls?

Using google maps I can see how to walk the round about way, but just wondering if there is a way to cut through Sapphire Falls to save some time?

Rpr and SF do have a connecting corridor

Once you are at SF, use that corridor and you will end up in the rpr convention center

Exit outside when it ends and walk on the sidewalk outside of the rpr building to the main area of rpr

Once you pass emeril and the boat dock section, you are a minute or two to rpr pool and elevators to the hotel lobby

Awesome. Thanks.

Reason I ask is that on our upcoming trip, while we're staying at CB we booked a night at RPR to get 2 days of Express Pass. WAY cheaper than even buying a single day of Express Pass at the parks. Will need to go to RPR to "check in" early one morning and print out or EPs.

We walked back and forth when we stayed at RPR last week to check out Cabana Bay, and it is maybe 15 minutes or so. Upon exiting Cabana bay You have to cross a fairly busy street (there is a traffic light but no crosswalk which I found quite strange), then cut through Sapphire Falls then to RPR.

Note, if you are using Express Pass on your check out day as well as your check in day I think you will have to go back to RPR and print them out again, unless I am mistaken. You might want to verify this.

From my understanding, the one that you print out lists the dates it is good for which would be both the check-in and checkout day no? Could someone confirm?

Either way we should be fine because we're actually gonna leave an overnight bag at RPR and spend the night there that we have it booked for.

When you check in and create your photo ep card, it will list the dates of check in thru the date of check out

Use the ep lines on the day you check out of that hotel

Hoping someone can verify the express pass info for you. And I'm glad that you are spending the night at RPR. It is a gorgeous resort, the public areas are so beautiful and the grounds and landscaping are lovely too. Getting back and forth to Universal on the boat from RPR is so pretty too, Cabana Bay transport to the parks and City Walk is via bus.

Ya. That's what I thought. Only need to print the cards once on the first day.

I am at Cabana Bay now and have walked to Sapphire Falls to use the water taxi - the second time I tried I went by way of the convention center and could easily see the RPR from there. From Cabana Bay - from the far end of the family suites section - where the bigger pool is - there is a walking path - go through the gate, up the stairs and the walkway goes right above the busy road - it is well landscaped. From there you can turn right to Sapphire Falls or keep going straight on to RPR. You will pass the convention buildings Pacifica on your right which are adjacent to Sapphire Falls. Seems like it would work to me.

how long of a walk is it from cabana family suite area to the sapphire water taxi. is it like walking from portafino to the park or portafino to hard rock. or????

If the suite is in the cabana courtyard area (which it is likely to be) I would say 5 minutes tops - it is very near.
