Got my 11 in this morning. It was downright chilly! The wind was blowing pretty strongly too so I had to break out both sleeves and windbreaker.
Now so all y'all northerners can laugh at me, Accuweather tells me the temp was 50 degrees.

I live in Canada, so I think that will say enough! Glad you got your run in and honestly, that would be too cold for me to run outside too!

Great question and one that always brings about interesting answers! My additions are based on major regions of the world that are currently unrepresented in the World Showcase:
- Australia/New Zealand (Oceania)
- India (Indian subcontinent)
- Brazil (South America)

Could someone share a brief list of the good (free) race viewing/cheering locations? I am starting the process of telling my family where to be and when.

I'd love to see them add some additional space and countries to Epcot. If the plan were to merely jam some more countries into the space they already have, eh, probably not so much. Any countries with which they chose to expand would be fine.

The space is already there, from what I understand. The layout of the showcase currently has 3 pads available that simply haven't been filled at this point. I haven't seen the plans, but my guess for the pads would be:
1. Between Mexico and Norway
2. The open "Africa" area
3. Between Germany and Italy (where the toy train village is)

This 2014 article shows eight spaces that could accommodate countries and not in a way that would "squeeze" them in or anything like that.

While we have Morocco and Kenya is pretty well represented in AK, I would like a better representation in Epcot considering what a large and diverse continent Africa is. India would be great - food, theming, etc. would be synch. South America in general needs representation at Epcot and I like the idea of doing Brazil with an Amazon theme. Greece would be great and of course would lend itself to Hercules (a highly underrated Disney film, IMO) and I like the idea of the Caribbean, too - theming would be a piece of cake.
