Rouged Again...

*sigh* We are going to Aulani in February, so I was looking for fares to Honolulu. Found a nice business class fare nonstop from Toronto to Honolulu. Book it, and then the ticket says - operated by Air Canada Rouge. Which means our "Business Class" fares are actually Premium Rouge. And our 10 hour flight doesn't have the lovely lie-flat beds. Instead, just reclining seats.

It's still better than coach, and the price wasn't bad, but it is disappointing. And I won't sleep nearly so well.

OUCH .. that is a huge bummer (yeah, first world problem definitely, but i wouldn't be a happy camper either for such a long flight - one of the reasons i always search seat guru before i commit to a flight!)

I feel your pain. I booked American Airlines from Miami to Los Angeles, First Class, Lay down seats in November on a 777 (a bit of a treat for a 6 hour flight). Last week they changed the equipment to an Airbus 319 and placed us in the first row, bulkhead, across the aisle from each other. There go the lay down seats not to mention the comfort originally sought after. Ugh!

I feel yours. I have an American Airlines business class to Miami in November. You can't even get into their lounge with that.
