Deciding which Stroller

We fly in from Australia and normally we take our own stroller to Disney. However we haven't used one at home in almost 2 years so am thinking of renting one, am tossing up between two...City Mini GT Single Stroller or Summit X3 Single.

It is for a 5 year old, 46inch tall, 64pounds...it is just the two of us so I will be the only one pushing it.

The last time we used a stroller was at a large zoo and kept getting too hard for me to push so I kept telling her to get out lol Since then we have never used a stroller, but think it might be handy to have one at Disney.

What would your recommendation be? Tia :)

Whatever is smaller - probably the City Mini, right? As the laborer of my family, I know first hand how difficult it can be to get a stroller on the WDW railroad, etc. Granted I had a double, but still. That or a cheap umbrella stroller you can leave in the hotel when you leave.

We have the City Mni GT and love it. It pushes great. It does not have the handle bar brake to slow it down, but WDW is not that hilly. Her head may brush the cover when it is pulled back. It does for DD, 4 years old and not that tall. I think either would be a good choice.

At 64lbs either of those strollers may still be hard to push. The weight limit of the gt is 60lbs and the summit is 70lbs. Based on that alone, the summit should push fine until 70lbs. Not easily, but better than the gt.

We've rented the city before and never had issues pushing it. I always love taking a stroller for bags and a lot of times we will leave the stroller somewhere central like in fantasyland and then walk around til we are done in fantasyland and then we will retrieve the stroller.

I love my city mini, it's the best stroller I have ever owned..it will be coming along with us to Disney in November..so my vote is the city mini hands down!!

I've had a city mini and really liked it and you'll see a ton of them at Disney but 64lbs is going to be a lot to push around all day and my be difficult even in the city mini.

Ooh!!! If you decide to go city mini..because there are soooo many there. I usually tie something bright around ours, like a bandana..that way it is easy to differentiate yours from the other!
