do you like that area, I really do, I think they did it up right, but heard its in financial trouble, mainly because of the High Roller, they spent a lot of money on that and its doing badly. I do think that its dumb (just to slow for me), any one been on it ? thoughts ?

I live here and I've been on it twice. It gives great views of not only the strip, but the entire valley. They did a great job with that area, but Caesars Entertainment was having monetary issues before they even started building that area/the High Roller. Them having money issues is nothing new for the past several years.

I am not a fan of heights, so I would not get on it. But the last time we were there I never even made it into that area to see it. I was so disappointed. I have no idea when I will even get to visit.

The area was great. As for High Roller, bring the price down and I'll think about it. To me it was just a expensive photo op that I already got at the Eiffel tower at the Paris resort. IMHO

Not sure of the cost, but look at these sites under Lv. They usually have discounts for it,

Livingsocial.com
Travelzoo.com

Groupon.com

I just rode it last month out there & thought it was a great touristy thing to do. Heights don't bother me & I think it was a great unique view of the area. I have also seen several Groupons for BOGO & they also offer happy hour cars with open bars. I love the promenade area enough that we booked the Linq for our August trip.

I would never get on it as I am afraid of heights, but I use all those other sites for food and other things as well.

Yes, every time I've went on the High Roller I've used a Groupon. It's a great deal. The All-You-Can-Drink car is also usually available on Groupon for a great price, and they pour with a very heavy hand. :p
