My husband and I are doing an "interim" honeymoon at Disney World because we've had to put off our "real" honeymoon in Japan after moving halfway across the country, but I wanted to do something fun during what will be a relatively quiet period at work.
To that end, we're hitting Disney World at the end of October- including Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Halloween night proper.
My husband and I are both die-hard nerds, but he's not quite as enchanted by Disney as I am- he likes it just fine, but he's not SUPER into it. He also has a history as a professional stilt walker that makes him a little less enthused sometimes about activities with performative components (Renaissance Faire and the like).
I REALLY want to make sure that he has a great time on our trip- it's our first Disney trip, basically first time to WDW (we each went once but when we were too young to remember much), and also our first trip together that's straight-up just a for-us trip (as opposed to going to see friends, for work, for family, etc.)
We're staying at POR, we're on the dining plan so that we can do at least one good sit down meal each night, we'll do all the big rides, we're getting a couples' massage one night...I wanted to know if anyone has any other good tips to help a spouse get a little more "magic" out of the trip if they're not big into Disney?
TIA!
