I loved reading along on your universal adventures. I've never gone to UOR but I do want to check it out some day soon and your report only made me want to check it out more. You took some fantastic photos at universal too. I can't wait to hear all about WDW.

I didn't realize you were writing a whole separate report on Unversal but now I'm all caught up! Great pictures, love all the new Harry Potter stuff. The meals sound really fun, especially hot butterbeer...gotta try that. Your meals outside of the parks sound good too, especially Cow Fish. Sorry your foot got stepped on. It has happened to me but much worse. I was wearing sandals and someone stepped on my pinky toe coming out of the subway. It was probably some of the worst pain I have felt. This happened 2 years ago. I was in such pain I didn't realize who had done it and I had to stop and catch myself. I hobbled all the way to work. I went to urgent care and they said it wasn't broken but it was a bone bruise which takes much longer to heal than a regular bruise. I pretty much hobbled around for 2 months. Thank goodness I wasn't on a WDW trip or else I would have been miserable!

OMG! That's terrible about your foot
I bet you walk a lot living in the NYC area. I don't walk as much living in Texas, but I drive a standard. Any foot, knee, or leg pain causes problems for me, since all of our cars are standards. I am honestly surprised that my feet don't get injured more often. I could see that easily happening on the subway.

Looks like you finished your trip report after we'd left for our cruise this summer (which was awesome!) & somehow I missed your updates. It was a nice surprise to be able to read through the rest this morning while I waited for layouts & copy at work. LOVED all the night photos of Hogsmeade. We've never been to Universal Studios at night (we generally travel in October & they close bout 6 p.m.). We're going next spring as part of a school music trip & I look forward to seeing it all lit up. And I really like the mini-pie combination at the Leaky Cauldron. I would definitely order it again. Now to design tomorrow's newspaper as quickly as possible so I can read the Disney portion ...

I would love to go during Halloween Horror Nights sometime. DS is still too young for it though. We will be doing a cruise next summer. Where did you go, and which cruise line?

We were on Royal Caribbean out of Port Canaveral with stops in Grand Cayman, Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel. We got back July 3 & we stayed in Orlando for a couple nights (resort only), and did some pool time & resort hopping & such (stuff I always say I wanna do but we never seem to do. LOL!). We watched the Star Wars fireworks from right in front of the topiary in the HS bus lot on July 3 and then MK fireworks from the Poly on July 4. It was awesome!
We have our next cruise booked for Oct. 2017 from Boston up into Canada on Royal Caribbean. LOVE to cruise!
