SSR to Fort Wilderness

Whats the best route? I'm thinking my two best options are:
A) bus to MK and boat to FW
B) walk or boat to Disney Springs, then bus to FW

Is either option drastically better than the other? Is there a better option I'm overlooking? I was going to allow 1 and 1/2 hours for travel.

I'm not considering taxi/uber because I have two kids (5 and 3) who will not have car seats.

what are you planning on doing at FW? most times the boat from MK is the easiest way. know you are not planning taxi/uber but most times that is longer and requires an internal bus ride.

Trails End ADR at 6:15 then doing the Chip and Dale sing along and campfire after.

I only recommend transferring at DS if it is the only option.

Transfer at MK.

with dinner at Trails End you want to take boat from MK as TE is a very short walk from boat dock. if you would use Disney Springs you would need any of the internal buses to other end of campground or walk about a mile from bus stop. the campfire will mean an internal bus ride or a walk of about 1/2 mile as that is in the middle of the campground. internal buses a color coded ask the driver as i forget which colors stop in that area. there are park like play areas around the campground if you have extra time to kill and need to let kids move. hope this helps you
