Planning on booking a 3 night stay probably from 27th December. Anyone tell me whether there is likely to be any issues at that time please? Closures etc...

Have previously visited August time and a couple of times immediately before Xmas, but this time can't get there 'til after.

Thinking of the Hotel New York as we haven't stayed there before. 4 adults (two adults and two grown up kids!)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts, suggestions and help.

The parks will be full ! Be ready to have huge lines everywhere. But it's also magic in winter holidays... As it's holidays, there will be extended hours. About closures, as it's holidays, most of the attractions should be opened.

As you can see on this overview: http://holidays.disneylandparis.co.uk/eep.html you have chosen a great time to stay at DLP as there are relatively few rides closed (compared to the other months). Normally Big Thunder Mountain will reopen the 16th of December.

That said, it will be quite crowdy because of the Christmas Holiday. That's probably the reason why there's so few closures.

Thank you both for your replies. I was hoping all the rides might be open as it was the Festive Season. As I said we have been immediately before Xmas but not after so wasn't sure. Knew it would be busy though!
This is possibly our last family holiday as our DD is now 21 and leaves University this year and DS is 18 and starts Uni in October.

I expect DD will be working somewhere by then with her hard earned Animation Degree. Who knows maybe for Disney themselves - which has been her wish since visiting DLP when she was about 5!!

Update.... trip now booked arriving 27th Dec for 3 nights. Can't wait...

We went to Disney in FL with a similar time frame this past year. It was mobbed no question but the closures were very limited as that being the absolute busiest time of year, they limit the closings as they need as much as possible open to handle the large crowds. I wouldn't expect different from disney in france than disney is the us.
In our case, it was a time when we could get everybody together so we decided to go despite the heavy crowds. Not all of us can do a different time.

We have been to Paris between christmas and new year for 3 years. The parks are busy but doable! As for the weather its freezing more freezing than you can imagine! Last year we spent the days in 3 pairs of socks, thermals and 2 coats and still got cold watching the fireworks! Cant be that bad though as I keep going back at the same time of year!

That's when we are going too! I expect a mob scene. We are preparing by making dinner reservations (instead of relying on queue wait time at QS) staying where we can get a VIP FP and using EMH. AND crossing our fingers! LOLOLOLOLOL
