Share your thoughts on the worst show in Orlando theme park history - The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad at Islands of Adventure!

The show is probably too corny and campy for most of the IOA crowd, but preteens seem to get a kick out of the show. The most redeeming parts on the show are some of the stunts. I don’t feel this is the worst theme park show ever but it’s not a Hall of Fame attraction either. Now it they put backs on those stadium bench seats I’d give it a YES!!! :rolleyes1

G’day

I have yet to actually venture over to Universal and was considering it for my trip next month, the small video package we saw of this show was almost enough to make sure I don't bother with Universal completely :o

I used to like it. The last two times we saw it were less than stellar and I'm not sure why.
I can do shows many times and enjoy them...Indiana Jones is enjoyable every time. So I don't think it's 'been there, done that'.
Not a Hall of Famer for me.

My First Time posting, I listen to the podcast every week. I was laughing so hard at this podcast. I agree.... IT IS HORRIBLE! Not even worth going to laugh at...... Totally not a hall of famer!

I say it should get in ...placing it in the dubious attractions section.

I have to confess to enjoying this show, although its not on my must see list. In fact, its been a few years since I last saw it.

The Universal show that I refuse to see is Barney. I've never seen Barney and never plan to. The closest I get to the Barney show is when the Halloween Horror Nights house entrance line passes through Barney's theater.

And I did vote no above. I wouldn't want to be responsible for Craig shutting down the Disboards.

I can't help but compare this show to stunt show at HS and Sinbad seems to pale in comparison to Indy. From the stage design to the action direction everything about Sinbad just seems off. This is one of the few theater where I prefer to sit off to the side and back. The set is also so big that the actors get lost in it and I'm not just talking about how they disappear for a few minutes so they can run to their next mark. I could go on but I think the video they showed spoke for itself this attraction is not Hall of Fame material.

I still say you're mad for not going, at least for the Simpsons and HP areas, if not the rest!

I voted no. I have seen Sinbad and don't need to go again. However, I don't think this is a good reason to take Universal off for a visit. There are other great shows and rides. Celestina Warbeck and her Banshees are worth the price of admission alone for me. Great Singer. Love her.

Genuinely thought everyone would just click yes to see what would happen. I'm so alone.

However I can only vaguely remember it from when I was about 8. The princess signed my autograph book. Yay? Maybe a new show would be better... a Harry Potter show?!
